  • Patent number: 7183480
Abstract: Performance interface system includes a motion detector provided for movement with a performer, and a control system for receiving detection data transmitted from the motion detector and controlling a performance of a tone in response to the received detection data. State of a performer's motion is detected via a sensor of the motion detector, and detection data representative of the detected motion state is transmitted to the control system. The control system receives the detection data from the motion detector, analyzes the performer's motion on the basis of the detection data, and then controls a tone performance in accordance with the analyzed data. With this arrangement, the performer can readily take part in the tone performance in the control system.

  • Publication number: 20050185957
Abstract: In an optical transmission node network in which a first optical transmission node is connected with a second optical transmission nodes through an optical fiber cable and automatic optical output (APSD: Automatic Power Shut-Down) control is activated, after the APSD control is brought into an inhibited status, if an optical conduction to the second optical transmission node is detected, the APSD control inhibited status is canceled. In this way, if an optical transmission fiber is resorted (reconnected) after optical output power measurement or the like is carried out, the APSD control inhibition status (invalid status) is canceled for automatically restoring the APSD control activated status. Thus, optical output can be prevented from being inadvertently emitted at a high energy level from the optical fiber cable.

  • Patent number: 6872139
Abstract: When setting (changing) a reception mode in a receiving unit 40, a CPU 62 issues a reception mode command to the receiving unit 40. Having received the command, a serial interface 53 writes the command to a command buffer 52. A protocol controller 50 analyzes the command which has been written to the command buffer 52 to determine whether the reception mode is a FIX mode or an UNFIX mode, and writes a corresponding status (a device ID, unique ID, mode, etc.) to a status memory 54. Then, when data is received from a transmission unit 20, the receiving unit 40 refers to the status which has been written to determine whether or not the received data is from a transmission system which has been set.

  • Patent number: 6856658
Abstract: A digital PLL (phase locked loop) circuit includes a sampling circuit, a plurality of internal circuits and an output switching circuit. The sampling circuit samples a burst data signal in response to a multi-phase clock signal to produce N (N is a positive integer larger than one) sampled data signals. The multi-phase clock signal includes N clock signals, each of which has substantially the same frequency as the data signal and which have phases different by a predetermined component from one after another. Each of the plurality of internal circuits is selected in response to a first selection signal, and outputs a set of a selected one of the N clock signals and an identified data signal from the N sampled data signals, which corresponds to the selected clock signal, in response to the selected clock signal, when the internal circuit is selected.
