Publication number: 20040096185Abstract: A video signal recording/playback apparatus includes a switch and a capture unit. The switch selects and outputs one of a first video signal recorded and played back in a recording medium and a distributed second video signal. The capture unit temporarily storing the video signal output from the switch. Simultaneously to a pause operation requested or after a predetermined period of time from the pause operation, the capture unit stores one image of the video signal and outputs the image as a pause image, and does not store a remaining of the video signal. Then, soon after the switch starts to output the first video signal recording/playbackced by a player, the capture unit starts storing the first video signal and outputs the first video signal as its is. Patent number: 6508296Abstract: A method for the production of a cast article having a small hole comprises the steps of setting a linear core member in a cavity of a metal mold, injecting a molten metal into the cavity, and drawing out the core member from the resultant-cast product to form a small hole. A linear core member having a surface film formed by surface coating or by subjecting to a surface treatment is used so that the surface film is partly or as a whole peeled off the linear core member upon drawing it from the cast product, thereby enabling the core member to be drawn from the inside of the cast product. Alternatively, the linear core member is so constructed as to elastically deform in the drawing direction upon drawing it from the cast product to have a diameter smaller than the original diameter.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2002Date of Patent: January 21, 2003Assignee: YKK CorporationInventors: Tadashi Yamaguchi, Masaki Sato, Hidenobu Nagahama
