Publication number: 20140061980Abstract: A first sealing member and a second sealing member are disposed respectively on a lower mold and an upper mold. During a process of closing the lower mold and the upper mold, a gap between the molds is sealed by the first sealing member, thereby forming an enclosed space between the molds. Thereafter, a gas in the enclosed space is discharged. As the closing process progresses, the enclosed space is divided by the second sealing member into a sealed room and a production cavity, followed by a liquid resin being supplied to the production cavity.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2013Publication date: March 6, 2014Applicant: HONDA MOTOR CO., LTD.Inventors: Masatoshi Kobayashi, Masaki Namaizawa, Makoto Nasu

Publication number: 20130335078Abstract: A method for predicting the resistance to heat deterioration of a sulfur-vulcanized isoprene rubber is disclosed. The nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum of the isoprene rubber is obtained by the use of a solid state nuclear magnetic resonance method employing magic angle spinning. The spectrum of a cross-linked structure ? and the spectrum of a cross-linked structure ? in the nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum are identified. The percentage of the cross-linked structure ? and the percentage of the cross-linked structure ? in the overall cross-linked structures of the sulfur are computed from the spectrum. From the computed percentages, the resistance to heat deterioration of the isoprene rubber is predicted.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2013Publication date: December 19, 2013Applicant: SUMITOMO RUBBER INDUSTRIES, LTD.Inventors: Masatoshi KOBAYASHI, Yasuhisa MINAGAWA

Patent number: 7652405Abstract: A plurality of convex portions are located inside of a virtual circumferential surface. Each convex portion connects an adjacent pair of circumferential portions with each other. Each convex portion is an arcuate curve bulging radially outward. Each convex portion defines a minimum radius. A difference between a radius R and the minimum radius is a depth Dh. Dhr=Dh×25.5/R. A range of an angular width A in relation to circumferential portion and a range of the depth Dh are set by the following expression, (5.6×Dhr+11.3)°×6/p?A<35°×6/p and A<[360/p?2×arccos]°??(1) Therefore, decrease in torque is prevented. Torque pulsation is suppressed.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2007Date of Patent: January 26, 2010Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Toyota JidoshokkiInventors: Taku Adaniya, Minoru Mera, Kiyoshi Uetsuji, Ai Saeki, Masatoshi Kobayashi, Hiroshi Fukasaku
