  • Patent number: 7432625
Abstract: An armature for use in a motor has a plurality of teeth, a plurality of slots and coils of three kinds of phases. A plurality of the slots is formed between the coadjacent teeth. The coils of three phases are wound around the teeth. The armature has a coil structure, according to which radial force acting on a specific tooth is greater than radial force acting on another tooth. A peak value of the radial force acting on the specific tooth is approximated to a peak value of the radial force acting on another tooth in such a manner that a flux path in and/or adjacent to the specific tooth is made narrower than a flux path in and/or adjacent to another tooth.

  • Publication number: 20080139958
Abstract: A practical method for estimating cardiac output and pulmonary artery wedge pressure with good accuracy is provided. The present invention provides a method for estimating the impedance arising from solid tissue by determining the impedance at the intersection between the line of identity and the extrapolated regression line, where the regression line is obtained by linearly regressing the maximum value to the minimum value of the impedance signal of each of multiple data sets, where each data set contains the maximum value and the minimum value of the impedance signal during one cardiac cycle, where impedance signal is obtained between a can electrode implanted in the left thoracic wall and an electrode inserted into the coronary vein, over a specific period of time following the infusion of hypertonic saline into the pulmonary circulation.

  • Publication number: 20080012276
Abstract: A passenger detecting device includes a plurality of weight sensors, a passenger judging and data updating means and an update forbidding means. The weight sensors are arranged at different positions of a seat for respectively detecting weights acting on the seat of a motor vehicle. The passenger judging and data updating means is capable of judging a passenger on the seat based on the loads detected by the weight sensors and updating information on the passenger. The update forbidding means prevents the passenger judging and data updating means from judging the passenger or prevents the information to be updated when a sum-weight fluctuation amount is not less than a first predetermined threshold value, where the sum-weight fluctuation amount is obtained by summing up weight function amounts which are absolute values of fluctuations of the loads detected by the weight sensors.

  • Publication number: 20070273239
Abstract: A housing of an electric motor includes an inner circumferential surface, which includes recesses arranged along the circumferential direction. On an outer circumferential surface of a stator core of a stator are provided protrusions arranged along the circumferential direction. Fitting each protrusion to the corresponding recess fixes the stator core to the housing. A rotor is provided radially inward of the stator. In a state where each protrusion is fitted to the corresponding recess, a pair of side surfaces of each protrusion are retained by a pair of inner side surfaces of the corresponding recess in the circumferential direction of the housing. A gap is formed between an end face of each protrusion and an inner bottom surface of the corresponding recess facing the end face along the entire surface of the end face.

  • Publication number: 20070200447
Abstract: A plurality of convex portions are located inside of a virtual circumferential surface. Each convex portion connects an adjacent pair of circumferential portions with each other. Each convex portion is an arcuate curve bulging radially outward. Each convex portion defines a minimum radius. A difference between a radius R and the minimum radius is a depth Dh. Dhr=Dh×25.5/R. A range of an angular width A in relation to circumferential portion and a range of the depth Dh are set by the following expression, (5.6×Dhr+11.3)°×6/p?A<35°×6/p and A<[360/p?2×arccos]° ??(1) Therefore, decrease in torque is prevented. Torque pulsation is suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20070144793
Abstract: A passenger detecting device includes a plurality of weight sensors, a weight-fluctuation monitoring means and a passenger judging and data updating means. The weight sensors are arranged at different positions of a seat for respectively detecting weights acting on the seat of a motor vehicle. The weight-fluctuation monitoring means monitors weight-fluctuation amounts of the plurality of the weight sensors and sum-weight fluctuation amount. The passenger judging and data updating means judges a passenger on the seat to be a large physical-size person or a small physical-size person to update information on the passenger on the seat when the sum-weight fluctuation amount is not less than each of the weight fluctuation amounts, and prevents the information to be updated when at least one of the weight fluctuation amounts is larger than the sum-weight fluctuation amount.

  • Publication number: 20060265113
Abstract: A detection device for passengers includes a passenger judgment unit which has a specified load judgment unit and a stability judgment unit, and a plurality of load sensors disposed on supporting parts of a seat of a vehicle. The passenger judgment unit makes a judgment on a state of a passenger on the seat of the vehicle according to output values of the plurality of load sensors. If a summation of the output values of the plurality of the load sensors is judged to fall into a specified load range of a child-seat by the specified load judgment unit, the passenger judgment unit will make a judgment on whether the child-seat is attached to the seat or not according to a summation of detected output values of the plurality of the load sensors detected when the stability judgment unit judged that the output values of the plurality of the load sensors are in stable state.
