  • Publication number: 20160171151
Abstract: A method is provided for determining whether a difference between a first reference sequence and first comparative sequences sharing homology with the first reference sequence is caused by a mutation of the first comparative sequence or a read error in sequencing. The method includes generating second comparative sequences and a second reference sequence by substituting for a sequence having the predetermined base number of the consecutive same bases in the first comparative sequences and the first reference sequence, calculating an edit distance of the second comparative sequence to the second reference sequence, and determining whether the difference is caused by the mutation or the read error based on the edit distance.

  • Patent number: 9163790
Abstract: An illumination device and a light-emission module suppressing a change in color temperature when light emitted from a light-emission unit passes through an optical member. The illumination device has a lighting apparatus that includes: a first light-emission part emitting light of a daylight color temperature; a second light-emission part emitting light of an incandescent lamp color temperature; and the optical member, which is disposed on an optical path of the light emitted from the light-emission parts. A correlated color temperature of the light emitted from the second light-emission part is set to 2238 K. Due to this, in a spectrum of the light emitted from the second light-emission part, a maximum intensity within a wavelength range from 400 nm to 500 nm is no greater than one-tenth of a maximum intensity within a wavelength range from 300 nm to 800 nm.

  • Publication number: 20150214451
Abstract: Each of a plurality of semiconductor light-emitting element has, on an upper surface thereof that has a quadrilateral shape, a pair of connecting portions having different polarities from each other. The pair of connecting portions are aligned on a diagonal of the quadrilateral shape. The diagonal intersects a row direction along which the semiconductor light-emitting elements within a row are arranged. Connecting portions having identical polarity are positioned on an imaginary line parallel to the row direction. Metal wires intersect two sides extending from a corner, on the diagonal, of the upper surface of each of the semiconductor light-emitting elements when viewed from a direction perpendicular to a mounting surface of a substrate for mounting the semiconductor light-emitting elements.

  • Publication number: 20150098225
Abstract: A lighting apparatus includes a substrate, a light-emitting element, and a sealing member. The light-emitting element emits light in a first wavelength range. The sealing member contains a material that converts the light in the first wavelength range to light in a second wavelength range different from the first wavelength range. The sealing member has a curved convex contour in at least one cross section that passes through the center of the light-emitting element and is perpendicular to a principal surface of the substrate. A curved line indicating a change in output angle that occurs upon a change in observation angle is approximated by a quadratic or trigonometric function that passes through the origin.

  • Publication number: 20150049480
Abstract: A light-emitting module includes a substrate, and elongated light-emitting units arranged in rows on the substrate. Each light-emitting unit includes an element array of light-emitting elements arranged on the substrate and a sealing member sealing the element array. The sealing member contains a wavelength converting material. When the light-emitting units are viewed from a direction that is parallel to a surface on which the plurality of light-emitting units are arranged and coincides with a row direction being a direction along which the light-emitting units are arranged in rows, two of the light-emitting units are arranged such that portions of one of the two light-emitting units nearer to the center in the row direction are visible without being obstructed by the other light-emitting unit.

  • Patent number: 8890186
Abstract: A molded resin product or the like that is provided with a phosphor layer made of gel-like or rubber-like resin that can maintain its shape for a long period and that can be implemented easily. The molded resin product (phosphor layer 7) includes a resin member 17 made of a gel-like or rubber-like translucent resin including a phosphor material. The resin member 17 includes a shape maintaining member 19 that is formed in a lattice shape by line-like members 20 that are made of a material having a higher elasticity modulus than the resin member 17. The molded resin product (phosphor layer 7) is in the shape of a dome. The translucent resin is made of, for example, silicon resin, and the resin member 17 is gel-like.
