  • Publication number: 20260079358
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to providing an optical device, such as a pair of smart glasses. A temple arm of a pair of smart glasses includes a battery disposed within a cavity of the temple arm. The temple arm further includes a cover that encloses the battery located within the cavity of the temple arm. Moreover, the temple arm includes a seal that at least partially secures the cover to the temple arm and is configured to prevent moisture and debris ingress into the cavity. Furthermore, the seal includes an adhesive section that couples the cover and the temple arm and a reusable gasket section removably coupled to the cover and the temple arm. The reusable gasket section is configured to facilitate removal of the cover from the temple arm for replacing the battery.

  • Publication number: 20230318092
Abstract: A non-cuboidal battery having a cross-sectional area and a thickness may include a metal can housing, a metal lid coupled to the metal can housing, and an electrode stack disposed in the metal can housing. The thickness of the non-cuboidal battery can be substantially uniform over the cross-sectional area. The electrode stack may include a cathode layer stacked on an anode layer, and a separator layer disposed between the cathode layer and the anode layer. The electrode stack may be hermetically sealed by the metal can housing and the metal lid. A negative terminal that can be electrically coupled to the anode layer and a positive terminal that can be electrically coupled to the cathode layer may be disposed on an exterior side of the metal can housing or the metal lid.

  • Publication number: 20220191578
Abstract: Some embodiments relate to a method for performing a battery power-based control of an in-call experience based on shared battery power information. Some embodiments relate to a coating of a headset that has a first emissivity over an ultraviolet band and a near-infrared band, a second emissivity over a visible band, and a third emissivity over a mid-to-far infrared band. Some embodiments relate to an aggregate coating of a headset. A thin films is applied to a surface of the headset, and a paint coating is applied to a surface of the thin film to form the aggregate coating. Some embodiments relate to a method for a high-definition multimedia interface derived network timing for distributed audio-video synchronization. Some embodiments relate to a battery containment structure with a metal chassis having surfaces coated with electrical insulators configured to receive a battery, and a lid coupled to the metal chassis.
