  • Patent number: 11910423
Abstract: Methods and systems for distinguishing between radar signals and Wi-Fi signals are provided. When a set of electromagnetic signals are received, various tests are performed on the signals to determine if the signals are associated with radar pulses or if the signals are more likely to be associated with stray Wi-Fi signals or other non-radar interference. One such test relies on the relatively small variance of frequencies used by radar pulses when compared to the high variation of Wi-Fi signals. Another test relies on the relatively low peak to average power ratio of signals associated with radar pulses when compared to Wi-Fi signals. The tests described herein are an improvement on existing methods for distinguishing radar signals from Wi-Fi signals and result in less switching of Wi-Fi channels due to erroneously detected radar signals.

  • Publication number: 20240056226
Abstract: A network of access points (AP) in a high-density environment may be provided. A number of packet transmission retries for one or more of the AP may be determined by setting a number, m, of retries for transmitting a data packet, where m is the upper limit of the number of retries. Data packets are then transmitted m times. Upon transmitting the data packet m times, a success probability SP(u,m) for transmission of the data packet, where u is the number of users, may be calculated. The transmission of the data packet may be repeated m?x times where x is an integer. Upon calculating the success probability for m?x times, a success probability SP(u,m?x) for transmission of the data packet may be calculated. If SP (u,m?x) is larger than SP(u,m) then x may be decreased by one and actions (b)-(f) may be repeated. If SP (u,m?x) is not larger than SP(u,m) then m?x may be set as the maximum number of retries for the data packet.

  • Publication number: 20240045046
Abstract: Presented herein are infrastructure triggering techniques for secure Ultra-Wideband (UWB) ranging. In one example, a method may include providing UWB ranging parameters to a mobile device via a first radio communication, wherein the first radio communication is a non-UWB radio communication; and triggering the mobile device to perform UWB ranging with a UWB anchor, wherein the triggering is performed using a second radio communication. In another example, a method may include, obtaining, by a mobile device, UWB ranging parameters for a geographic area; obtaining a UWB ranging instruction for the geographic area; and performing UWB ranging with a target UWB anchor based on the UWB ranging parameters and the UWB ranging instruction.

  • Publication number: 20240049133
Abstract: Network traffic interference detection and management may be provided. An infringement event by an infringing Access Point (AP) on a Restricted Target Wake Time (rTWT) transmission opportunity (TxOp) associated with a victim AP may be detected, and information associated with the infringement event may be added to an infringement list, wherein the information includes a MAC address associated with the infringing AP. A controller, may receive the infringement list and notify the infringement event to the infringing AP. The infringing AP may determine whether a transmission associated with the infringement event is low latency and high priority. When the transmission is not low latency and high priority the infringing AP may modify future transmissions based on the notification. When the transmission is low latency and high priority the infringing AP may notify the controller that the transmission is low latency and high priority.

  • Patent number: 11894999
Abstract: Client status pairs are obtained for clients. Each of the client status pairs includes a first client status assigned by a first network entity and a second client status assigned by a second network entity. Mismatched client status pairs are identified from the client status pairs. Each mismatched client status pair includes a discrepancy between the first and second client status. A data structure is generated that stores the mismatched client status pairs in a portion of the data structure. The portion is associated with a unique type of mismatched client status pair. A script configured for the unique type is executed. For each mismatched client status pair stored in the portion, the script modifies a data store associated with the first network entity to replace the first client status with the second client status.

  • Publication number: 20240023179
Abstract: An arrangement of three radios maybe provided. The three radios define first and second outer data links and a middle data link. Access to the arrangement of three radios can be biased to the middle data link in one direction upon a data transmission through the first and second outer data links being dominate in an opposite direction. Data transmission with enhanced multi-link single radio (eMLSR) client devices can be prioritized lower than data transmission with simultaneous transmit and receive radio (STR) client devices and non-simultaneous transmit and receive radio (NSTR) client devices. A radio can be configured for data transmission with a client device. The range of the radio is limited when the data traffic through the radio exceeds a determined number of bytes of data in a determined amount of time.

  • Patent number: 11853441
Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, at a computing system, from a user, a request for an access code and one or more constraints on a use of the access code, and identifying a portable device to be associated with the access code. The method also includes obtaining, using the portable device, authorization for one or more potential interactions using the access code. Upon obtaining authorization for the one or more interactions, the method includes generating the access code, which includes an identifier that causes an access request that includes the access code be routed to the computing system. The method also includes receiving, from an access device, an access request comprising the access code in an interaction. Upon determining that the interaction complies with the one or more transaction constraints, the computing system provides an indication to the access device that the interaction is authorized.

  • Publication number: 20230401551
Abstract: Arrangements for adjusting a movable display portion of a self-service kiosk are provided. In some aspects, sensor data may be received from one or more sensors associated with a self-service kiosk. The sensor data may be analyzed to determine one or more dimensions of the vehicle. Based on the analyzed sensor data, a position to which a movable display portion of the self-service kiosk should be adjusted may be identified. In some examples, an instruction causing the movable display portion to adjust from a first, current position to the identified adjusted position may be generated and executed. The user may then initiate the transaction using one or more components of the self-service kiosk in the adjusted, second position. The transaction may be processed by the self-service kiosk. When the transaction is completed, an instruction causing the movable display portion to return to the first position may be generated and executed.

  • Publication number: 20230394473
Abstract: Arrangements for controlling transaction processing via linked devices are provided. In some aspects, customer linking data may be received from a user. For instance, a user may identify one or more user computing devices, as well as one or more payment devices, such as credit cards, debit cards, and the like. The customer linking data may include an indication to link the user computing devices to the payment devices in order to execute one or more rules limiting transaction processing associated with the payment devices. A request to process a transaction and transaction details may be received from an external entity computing system. The request for transaction and transaction details may be analyzed to determine whether the user computing device is linked to the payment device. If so, the transaction may be authorized and processed. If not, additional authentication data may be requested.
