  • Patent number: 12113582
Abstract: An access point allocates resource units within a first channel to mitigate interference from an adjacent second channel. The access point obtains a measure of signal strength corresponding to each wireless device attached to an access point, and assigns, for each wireless device, resource units with a first frequency band of the first channel to mitigate interference with a second frequency band of a second channel adjacent to the first channel. An assignment between a set of resource units and a particular wireless device is based on the measure of signal strength corresponding to the particular wireless device. The access point communicates with the wireless devices on the resource units.

  • Patent number: 12102764
Abstract: A respiratory mask system includes a mask interface and a headgear assembly. The headgear assembly is adjustable and comprised of an elastic portion, a non-elastic portion and a restriction mechanism configured to provide a force resisting movement of the non-elastic portion when the elastic portion is extended. There is a support beam coupled to the non-elastic portion and extending along a portion of the headgear that is curved along its longitudinal extent. In this way particular seal modules can be comfortably fitted to a user and any blow off force is mitigated. A particular example of the respiratory mask system includes provision for removable attachment between the seal and a mask frame, the mask frame and a yoke of the headgear; and between a conduit and the mask frame.

  • Publication number: 20240323991
Abstract: Methods and systems for distinguishing between radar signals and Wi-Fi signals are provided. When a set of electromagnetic signals are received, various tests are performed on the signals to determine if the signals are associated with radar pulses or if the signals are more likely to be associated with stray WI-Fi signals or other non-radar interference. One such test relies on the relatively small variance of frequencies used by radar pulses when compared to the high variation of Wi-Fi signals. Another test relies on the relatively low peak to average power ratio of signals associated with radar pulses when compared to Wi-Fi signals. The tests described herein are an improvement on existing methods for distinguishing radar signals from Wi-Fi signals and result in less switching of Wi-Fi channels due to erroneously detected radar signals.

  • Publication number: 20240289349
Abstract: A system for memory-transfer-based database synchronization in an appliance is provided. During operation, the system can receive, from a database manager on an active unit, a notification indicating that a first memory block has been updated due to an update to a first entry in a first database of the active unit. The system can identify a second memory block that stores a corresponding second entry in a second database of a standby unit. The first and second memory blocks can be in first and second memory segments, respectively, of respective memory devices of active and standby devices. The first and second memory segments can be outside of the accessible memory range of the respective operating systems. The system can then replace the content of the second memory block with the content of the first memory block using a memory-transfer operation, thereby synchronizing the first and second entries.

  • Publication number: 20240292449
Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product are provided for prioritizing network traffic. An indication is received at a network controller that an alarm is activated at a physical site. A request is received from a user device to join a network at the physical site that is under control of the network controller, wherein the request includes a flag indicating an identity of a user of the user device and a priority status of the user. In response to authenticating the identity of the user via an identity provider server, the user device is authorized to join the network. Based on verifying the priority status of the user using the flag and authentication via the identity provider server, network traffic for the user device is prioritized.

  • Publication number: 20240283506
Abstract: Connection issue prediction may be provided. A computing device may receive first Channel State Information (CSI) for a first link associated with a client device. The first CSI may be collected when beamforming was trained on a second link associated with the client device. Second CSI may be received for the first link associated with the client device. The second CSI may be collected at a time subsequent to when beamforming was trained on the second link associated with the client device. A correlation between the first CSI and the second CSI may be determined to be below a predetermined threshold. A status of the beamforming performed on the second link associated with the client device may be set to stale in response to determining that the correlation between the first CSI and the second CSI is below the predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240259764
Abstract: Presented herein are techniques for scheduling Ultra-Wideband (UWB) anchors and mobile devices for client ranging. A control device can determine respective ranging priorities for a plurality of mobile devices, which are each assigned to at least one UWB anchor. The control device can obtain at least one collision mapping identifying, for a respective pair of the mobile devices, a collision probability that a UWB signal associated with a ranging procedure involving a first mobile device of the respective pair will collide with a UWB signal associated with a ranging procedure involving a second mobile device of the respective pair. The control device can establish a ranging schedule for the mobile devices and UWB anchors based on the respective UWB ranging priorities and the collision mapping(s). The control device can send at least one command to cause UWB ranging procedures to be performed according to the ranging schedule.

  • Patent number: 12041461
Abstract: The present technology is directed to visualizing a Wi-Fi signal propagation in 3-D at various heights and locations. The present technology can calculate a radio frequency (RF) propagation pattern for a Wi-Fi access point (AP) based on a RF propagation model for the Wi-Fi AP and overlay the RF propagation pattern for the Wi-Fi AP over a visualization of the building plan to present a 3-D visualization of the RF propagation pattern of the 3-D space. In particular, the present technology can project a plurality of ray-paths in various directions in a 3-D space originated from the Wi-Fi AP and determine whether the ray-paths interface with objects defined in the building plan. The present technology can segment the respective ray-path into contiguous segments of substantially uniform mediums for each ray-path that interface with the objects and determine a RF signal strength at points along the contiguous segments of the ray-paths.
