Abstract: Interleaved conversation concept flow enhancement can include detecting a topic of an on-going conversation over an electronic communication system. In response to detecting a topic newly introduced into the on-going conversation, a topic-divergence metric (TDM) with respect to the original topic and the newly introduced topic can be determined. A topic-divergence response action can be initiated in response to the newly introduced topic diverging from the original topic by more than a predetermined threshold based on the TDM.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for displaying content without obscuring key details on a computer screen. After the computing system detects the display of overlapping application windows, objects in the application windows are detected using an object recognition service. A determination is then made as to which of these detected objects correspond to objects that are being focused by the user, will be focused by the user and/or have been focused by the user based on the tracking of the eye gaze of the user and/or prior recorded patterns of activity. A score may then be generated for each of these focused objects indicating a level of obstruction using the location of the focused objects, the location of overlays and/or prior recorded patterns of activity. An optimal layout of the overlapped application windows is determined in response to the score for the focused object(s) exceeding a threshold value.

Abstract: A system and method for responding to changes in social traffic in a geographic area receives, via an electronic communications interface, information describing a geographic area and one or more attributes of people expected to be in the geographic area. A geofence is defined based on the information describing the geographic area, and a cohort of people expected to be in the geofence is defined based on the one or more attributes. Information from a sensor regarding an attribute of a person at a geographic location is received via an electronic communications network. Based on the attribute, a determination is made whether or not the person is a member of the cohort of people expected to be in the geofence. An alert may be triggered based at least in part on whether or not the person is a member of the cohort of people expected to be in the geofence.

Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for intelligently synchronizing exercise music for an instructor based group workout is provided. The present invention may include identifying at least one goal workout. The present invention may then include receiving a plurality of verbal cues associated with an instructor and a plurality of nonverbal cues associated with the instructor. The present invention may also include analyzing the received plurality of verbal cues and the received plurality of nonverbal cues. The present invention may further include generating the exercise music based on the analyzed plurality of verbal cues and analyzed plurality of nonverbal cues.

The system receives a message intended for a collection of messages having a common topic. The message is compared to the common topic of the collection of messages to determine relatedness of the message to the collection of messages. The presentation of the message is altered based on the comparing. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for processing messages in substantially the same manner described above.

Abstract: Balancing a workload based on commitments to projects includes monitoring messages in a collaboration system, the messages representing correspondences between users of the collaboration system, selecting a number of the users associated with the collaboration system to form a group of users, retrieving the messages from each of the users in the group of users, analyzing data associated with the messages to determine which of the messages relate to at least one project, and executing, based on a threshold, at least one action to optimize a workload for at least one user in the group of users for the at least one project.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for improving the discoverability of messages on a social network. The creation of a proposed message that requests a response from a target audience is detected. The social network is then searched to identify search terms and posts related to the proposed message. Upon identifying the search terms, the search terms are ranked in order of usage among the identified posts. A list of identified search terms in order of rank is then presented to the user to modify the proposed message. The proposed message is modified using a search term selected by the user from the list of search terms. The modified message is then posted on the social network. In this manner, the message created by the user has been modified to improve the discoverability of the message on the social network and to increase responses from an appropriate target audience.

An analyzer analyzes the base post and a number of other posts. A search engine of the system identifies from the number of other posts and based on the analysis, a number of related posts that relate to the base post. Abstract: Document discrepancy determination and mitigation can include marking a fragment of a first document and a corresponding fragment of a second document in response to determining a dependency between the first document and the second document. A discrepancy probability with respect to the first document and the second document can be identified based on a discrepancy measure, which can be determined by comparing the marking of the fragment of the first document and the marking of the corresponding fragment of the second document. Abstract: The method, computer program product and computer system may include computing device which may collect message data containing one or more metadata tags from one or more collaboration and social media communication networks. The computing device may load the message data into a datastore. The computing device may determine the utility of the one or more metadata tags contained within the message data. The computing device may determine the effectiveness of the one or more metadata tags contained within the message data. The computing device may combine the calculated frequency and the calculated information gain of the one or more metadata tags using regression analysis and may activate a metadata tag management routine for the one or more metadata tags if the combined frequency and information gain falls below a threshold value.
