  • Patent number: 10375667
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for enhancing target positioning. A broadcast signal from a device is received by at one or more access points, where a first position area of the device is determined from an analysis of the broadcast signal. A second position area of the target, which is within the first position area, is determined by scanning pixels within the first position area in an image captured by the camera and, based on the scanned pixels, at least one target comprising a portion of the pixels is detected. The target within the image is classified, and based on the classification and portion of the pixels comprising the target, the second position area of the target within the first position of the image is triangulated.

  • Publication number: 20190236612
Abstract: A biometric payment system device obtains a digital representation of a biometric, generates an abstract biometric identifier data structure using the digital representation of the biometric, receives a response from a biometric payment system based on a transmission of the abstract biometric identifier data structure, and completes a transaction based on the response. In some embodiments, a biometric payment system receives an abstract biometric identifier data structure from a biometric payment system device, generates a biometric template, determines an identity by providing the biometric template to a matching engine; and provides information associated with the identity to the biometric payment system device.

  • Publication number: 20190180016
Abstract: In biometric ticketing, physical token-less ticketing system using biometrics, a person may be identified using a digital representation of a biometric. Ticketing information may be ascertained based on the identification. The ticketing information may be provided, actions may be performed using the ticketing information, and so on. In some implementations, a checkpoint device receives biometric data from a person. A digital representation of the biometric data is used to obtain an identifier from an identification system. The digital representation of the biometric data may not be included in the identifier. The identifier is used by to obtain ticketing information from a ticketing system. The person may be allowed or denied entry into a ticketed area based on the ticketing information.

  • Publication number: 20190179712
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for prioritizing backups of data on cameras. In some examples, a camera records media content items captured by the camera and detects features within respective media content items captured by the camera. The camera tags the media content items with data identifying the features detected within the respective media content items and, based on the data identifying the features detected within the respective media content items, ranks the media content items to yield respective media content item rankings. Based on the respective media content item rankings, the camera selects one or more of the media content items for a prioritized remote backup and, in response to detecting a threat to the camera, sends, according to one or more rules defined for the prioritized remote backup, data associated with the one or more of the media content items to a network destination.

  • Publication number: 20190158789
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for protecting critical data on cameras from physical attacks. In some examples, a camera at a particular site monitors data captured by the camera and, based on the data, detects one or more predetermined conditions indicating a threat to the camera. Based on the one or more predetermined conditions indicating the threat to the camera, the camera determines a threshold risk of damage to data stored at the camera. In response to determining the threshold risk of damage to the data stored at the camera, the camera selects, from a plurality of content items in the data stored at the camera, a subset of content items based on respective priorities associated with the plurality of content items, and sends, via a network, the subset of content items to one or more destinations to yield a prioritized backup of the plurality of content items.

  • Publication number: 20190156005
Abstract: In physical token-less security screening using biometrics, a person provides biometric data to a security computing device as part of a security screening. The biometric data is used by the security computing device to look up an identifier (such as an airline account identifier or a security status identifier) for the person from a security back end. The identifier is used by the security computing device to obtain electronic pass information (such as an electronic boarding pass or a security screening status indicator) from a third party computing system (such as an airline computing system or a clearinghouse), which may be used to clear the person and/or otherwise facilitate the security screening. In some implementations, these techniques may also be used for physical token-less pass processing (such as boarding pass-less airline processing, confirmation of assigned traveling credentials, or determination of security protocols).

  • Publication number: 20190127794
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods of determining one or more tissues and/or cell-types contributing to cell-free DNA (“cfDNA”) in a biological sample of a subject. In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a method of identifying a disease or disorder in a subject as a function of one or more determined more tissues and/or cell-types contributing to cfDNA in a biological sample from the subject.

  • Publication number: 20190100374
Abstract: Provided is a pressure reducing tilt nozzle that includes a body defining a cavity having an inlet and an outlet, and a piston disposed in the cavity. The piston is biased in a first piston position away from the inlet allowing flow through the inlet and is movable toward the inlet to a second piston position preventing flow through the inlet when pressure in the cavity overcomes a biasing force biasing the piston in the first piston position.
