  • Patent number: 11928716
Abstract: A request is received to perform an exploration in a predictive and maintenance service application. A sequence of explorations is added in an evidence package. The evidence package includes the list of micro services. The sequence of explorations in the evidence package are analyzed. Based on the analysis, a user behavior corresponding to the performed exploration is identified. The user behavior is provided as input to the machine learning algorithm. Configuration data corresponding to the exploration and the evidence package is stored in a configuration database. The machine learning algorithm is executed in an execution engine. The execution engine is a micro service. Based on execution of the machine learning algorithm, the list of micro services is automatically identified as recommendations. The list of micro services is displayed as recommendations in the predictive and maintenance service application.

  • Patent number: 11590947
Abstract: A method for controlling a hydrodynamic machine, including the steps of: providing a hydrodynamic machine which includes a bladed primary wheel and a bladed secondary wheel, which together form a working chamber, which can be filled with a working medium from a working medium supply contained in a working medium reservoir, to transfer drive power hydrodynamically from the bladed primary wheel to the bladed secondary wheel by forming a working medium circuit in the working chamber; applying a control pressure to the working medium supply in order to force the working medium from the working medium supply into the working chamber; detecting, at least indirectly, a pressure increase in the working medium reservoir, when the control pressure is applied to the working medium supply; and determining, as a function of the pressure increase that has been detected, a fill level of the working medium supply in the working medium reservoir.

  • Patent number: 10768946
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method receiving a specification of a manufacturing system that is generated using a modeling language. The modeling language allows a layout of machines to be specified. Available software systems from a software provider are retrieved and the specification is analyzed to determine applicable software systems for the manufacturing system. The method generates a configuration based on the analysis of the layout of the machines for the manufacturing system. The configuration specifies instances of software systems to be installed on the machines and an edge system between the manufacturing system and a remote computing environment. The instances of the software systems are deployed on the edge system and the machines and the edge system orchestrates operations on the machines operating in the manufacturing system in real-time. Also, the edge system communicates with the remote computing environment for non-real time operations on the set of machines.

  • Patent number: 10713270
Abstract: Structured exploration of available data provides insight allowing early detection/analysis of emerging issues. An in-memory database engine applies specialized information sources and filter criteria to an original data set to successively produce various exploration levels. Evidence relating to a particular exploration level (e.g., resulting data subset, metadata indicating chains of information sources/filter criteria) are stored at the user's instruction within an evidence package of the in-memory database. Information sources may be licensed from third parties, and may be present in the in-memory database. To improve computer performance, embodiments may delete results of previous exploration levels outside of the evidence package. Evidence from the evidence package may be displayed to afford insight into relationships between data subsets and an emerging issue. One structured exploration references a source of geographic information (e.g.

  • Patent number: 10014234
Abstract: The patterning technique used for forming sophisticated metallization systems of semiconductor devices may be monitored and evaluated more efficiently by incorporating at least one via line feature into the die seal. In this manner, high statistical significance may be obtained compared to conventional strategies, in which the respective test structures for evaluating patterning processes may be provided at specific sites in the frame region and/or die region. Moreover, by providing a “long” via line feature, superior sensitivity for variations of depth of focus may be achieved.

  • Patent number: 9524239
Abstract: Software solutions in a business software framework can expose their data via web services, which can readily provide access to all non-customized fields of objects included as part of the default installation of the software solution. However, customer-added extensions, such as for example custom fields and the like, added to customize the software solution for a specific business or business use can be difficult to add to web services by a typical business user who lacks technical abilities. Described herein are approaches to enabling addition of custom fields to web services via an intuitive interface that does not require technical understanding of the software solution, the business software framework, web services, etc.

  • Patent number: 9324631
Abstract: A bump structure or pillar structure formed above a metallization system of a complex semiconductor device may include a stress buffer layer, which may efficiently distribute the resulting mechanical stress which may typically occur during the chip package interaction due to a thermal mismatch of these components. The stress buffer layer comprises copper-based buffer regions that cover a significant portion of the overall surface, wherein a thickness of approximately 3-10 ?m may also be used. Moreover, the buffer regions may efficiently replace aluminum as a terminal metal active region.

  • Patent number: 9244697
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a business service provider may define a stable user interface anchor entity associated with a business object data structure. A reference field may be associated with the stable user interface anchor, the reference field representing a path to a persistent node of the business object data structure. An end user adaptation to a user interface may then be applied in connection with the business object data structure, the adaptation referencing the stable user interface anchor entity.

  • Patent number: 9136234
Abstract: When forming sophisticated semiconductor devices including metal pillars arranged on contact pads, which may comprise aluminum, device performance and reliability may be improved by avoiding exposure of the contact pad material to the ambient atmosphere, in particular during and between dicing and packaging processes. To this end, the contact pad material may be covered by a protection layer or may be protected by the metal pillars itself, thereby concurrently improving mechanical stress distribution in the device.

  • Patent number: 9054112
Abstract: In semiconductor devices, the alignment mark for performing alignment processes of measurement tools and the like may be positioned within the die seal area on the basis of a geometric configuration, which still preserves mechanical integrity of the die seal without compromising the spatial information encoded into the alignment marks. For example, L-shaped alignment marks may be provided at one or more corners of the die seal area.

  • Patent number: 8924565
Abstract: Transporting of flexibility changes of customer content between tenants in a multi-tenant computing system can be performed by exporting customer content from a first tenant of the multi-tenant computing system, transporting the customer content exported from the first tenant to a second tenant of the multi-tenant computing system, importing the customer content into a staging area in the second tenant to enable a user associated with second tenant to access the customer content via the staging area based on a content extraction trigger, and activating selected customer content from the staging area in a productive component of the second tenant. The content extraction trigger can characterize an extraction of at least some of the customer content from the staging area. Related methods, systems, and articles of manufacture are also disclosed.
