  • Publication number: 20250122077
Abstract: The invention relates to a process and a plant for producing a raw synthesis gas containing hydrogen and carbon oxides by simultaneous partial oxidation of a hydrocarbon-containing gas input stream and a hydrocarbon-containing liquid input stream containing impurities. The evaporation of the liquid input stream is carried out under partial evaporation conditions to obtain a gaseous mixed input stream and a liquid residual stream. The gaseous mixed input stream is depleted in the impurities relative to the hydrocarbon-containing liquid input stream and is fed into the partial oxidation, wherein the depletion efficaciously prevents the formation of deposits through crystallization of dissolved inorganic constituents or of carbon deposits, especially in and/or upstream of the POX burner. The liquid residual stream is enriched in the impurities relative to the hydrocarbon-containing liquid input stream and is discharged from the process.

  • Patent number: 12124227
Abstract: A method teaches a control function, preferably a characteristic curve, of a hydrostatic motor of a traction drive of a work machine when in drive mode. The traction drive is provided with the hydrostatic motor and a hydrostatic pump, which is hydraulically connected to the hydrostatic motor. The method includes setting a pivot angle of the hydrostatic motor while taking into account a desired velocity of the work machine when in the drive mode, and checking whether predefined conditions are met. If the predefined conditions are met and a current velocity differs from the desired velocity, the method includes correcting the control function of the hydrostatic motor by taking into account a difference between the desired velocity and the current velocity. At least one value of the corrected control function of the hydrostatic motor is taught during the correcting.

  • Publication number: 20240327215
Abstract: The invention relates to a partial oxidation reactor (POX reactor) for producing a raw synthesis gas stream by partial oxidation of a carbon-containing input stream in gaseous form, in liquid form or in solid, particulate form dispersed in a carrier liquid or a carrier gas in the presence of an oxygen-containing oxidant stream and optionally a moderator stream containing steam and/or carbon dioxide. The invention further relates to a process for producing a raw synthesis gas stream. The partial oxidation reactor according to the invention provides for introducing a cylindrical or frustoconical inlet region having a constant diameter or a diameter that is smaller on the entrance side. The inlet region is arranged upstream of a cylindrical main reactor portion and represents a bottleneck-like section since the largest diameter of the inlet region is smaller than the diameter of the cylindrical main reactor portion.

  • Publication number: 20230410465
Abstract: Machine learning models can generate outputs such as salient object detection. However, top-performing large-scale models have high computational cost, making the models hard to deploy on resource-constrained devices and to make predictions in real time. A difference convolution reparameterization technique can be used to fuse the sets of parameters learned during training time into a single set of parameters to be used at inference time or at deployment. The technique can increase performance without adding a lot of parameters. Furthermore, an efficient and effective spatial temporal difference convolution block can be used to leverage temporal information to make predictions. The spatial temporal difference convolution block can also apply the difference convolution reparameterization technique to reduce the need to increase parameters to achieve desired performance.
