    Abstract: A computer implemented system and method allow database performance testing and improvement. The method comprises using a database system (DBS) for embedding a virtual resource simulation system (VRSS) into a node of the DBS, loading a new configuration parameter of a database into the VRSS, receiving, by the VRSS from the DBS, an action control block (ACB), and dynamically activating and assigning a service task by a service task dispatcher of the VRSS to process the ACB. The method further comprises simulating a process of database execution based on a content of the ACB by creating a limited database internal data structure that is based on the ACB and the new configuration parameter, and manipulating the limited database internal structure to produce a simulation result. The method further comprises utilizing a metric associated with the simulation result of the new configuration parameter in the simulated process of database execution.

    Abstract: A system according to which a network of physical sensors are configured to detect and track the performance of aircraft engines. The physical sensors are placed in specific locations to detect an exhaust gas temperature, vibration, speed, oil pressure, and fuel flow for each aircraft engine. The performance of each aircraft engine is then viewed in combination with oil consumption associated with that aircraft engine and the routine maintenance program associated with that aircraft engine to route the aircraft and move the aircraft, in accordance with the routing, to a specific location. The sensors efficiently track the performance and physical condition of the engines. Moreover, a listing of identified “at-risk” engines is displayed on a screen of a GUI in a manner that allows for easy navigation and display. Data point(s) that triggered the identification of each “at-risk” engine are easily accessible and viewable.

    Abstract: A method for preparing dihydroartemisinin bulk drug in single process comprises: S1. dissolving artemisinin in aprotic solvent; S2. adding phase transfer catalyst and reducing agent in sequence to cause a reduction reaction with artemisinin; S3. adjusting the pH of the reaction system obtained in step S2 to 5-7 with acid solution, adding water and stirring, separating the liquids, extracting the aqueous phase obtained by the separation with the same aprotic solvent as in step S1, combining the organic phase obtained by extraction and separation, washing with water, and drying, obtaining dried organic phase; S4. placing the dried organic phase obtained in step S3 in a crystallization device that has the functions of crystallization-press filtration-drying, and then the crystals are precipitated, concentrated, press-filtered, and dried to obtain the refined dihydroartemisinin.

The frame was sourced by a remote core edge node that is not a member of the redundancy group, and the network address information indicates that the packet is to be forwarded via the link. In response to the link being affected by the network failure, the method further includes generating a modified frame and forwarding the modified frame to another core edge node. The generating comprises including a redirect label in the modified frame. The another core edge node is another member of the redundancy group.
