A processor determines at least one sibling leaf page of the specific leaf page in the key-ordered chain, the specific leaf page and the at least one sibling leaf page forming a first set. A processor determines that there is enough room in leaf pages of the first set to store existing keys in the leaf pages of the first set together with the specific key. A processor stores the existing keys in the leaf pages of the first set together with the specific key according to a redistribution policy.

According to the method, at first, a camera of a device may capture a scene into a video, then the device may store frame-series images of the video into a cache. The device may then detect whether there is at least one intruder in the scene, and then in response to the at least one intruder being detected in the scene, the device may eliminate the at least one intruder from the cached frame-series images.

Abstract: A digital syringe is used with conventional polymer disposable syringe construction to be practical in the medical environment. Errors associated with the larger volumes of the syringes (which exacerbate minor errors in plunger position) and the flexibility and dimensional variations of the polymer plungers are accommodated by direct measurement of the syringe plunger position rather than indirect measurement of motor position and inference of syringe plunger position. This direct measurement eliminates mechanical tolerances (“stack up”) in the motor, gear train, and lead screw on plunger movement, an effect exacerbated by flexibility of the plunger and changes in syringe resistance and medicament viscosity, for example, with different medicaments or when the syringe is refrigerated. The digital syringe may be combined with the motor unit to provide additional versatility.

In each node of the nodes of the sub-index, a component key value is generated, for the component key for which the sub-index was generated, from at least one composite key value in the corresponding node of the index. The sub-indexes are used to search for a record matching a search composite key value in the database using component key values of the search composite key value.
