  • Patent number: 11241547
Abstract: An atomizing nozzle structured particularly for nasal therapy. Preferred embodiments include a 2-piece atomizing nozzle structured to couple with luer-locking structure carried by a syringe. Such an atomizing nozzle includes a nasal stopper and a stem. A preferred nasal stopper includes a distal tip sized for insertion into a nostril of a human child, with a proximal shield portion being structured to resist over-insertion of a discharge orifice into the nostril. A nasal stopper desirably provides a centering function to urge the discharge orifice away from a nasal wall. One operable stem is structured to couple with the stopper and desirably carries unitary thread structure at a proximal end. A second operable stem is structured as a unitary part of the nasal stopper and also desirably carries unitary thread structure at a proximal end. Certain embodiments may also include spacer structure configured to reduce a dead volume inside the atomizing nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20210405012
Abstract: A system and process may be used to test water samples to measure ATP and/or estimate a microbial population, for example using an adenosine triphosphate (ATP) based assay. The system includes a device that is use in combination with single-use or disposable cartridges. The cartridge receives the water sample and is pre-loaded with one or more reagents. The device receives the cartridge and contains physical, electronic and/or mechatronic devices that interact with cartridge. One or more actions such as metering, mixing and conveying are performed automatically by elements of the device and/or cartridge. A sensor in the device measures light produced in the cartridge from a reaction with ATP in the water sample. Optionally, the cartridge also contains a pre-loaded amount of ATP, which is used to provide an internal reference or calibration measurement.

  • Publication number: 20210383016
Abstract: Techniques are described for providing access to anonymized user data derived from external data providers. A persona management system generates a searchable data store containing metadata related to a plurality of users of the persona management system. The metadata includes entries indicating: a first identifier of a user of the plurality of users of the persona management system, a second identifier of an external data provider of a plurality of external data providers that possess data related to users of the persona management system, a third identifier of an algorithm that is used to transform data possessed by the external data provider related to the user of the persona management system into one or more transformed data values, and the one or more transformed data values. In response to requests from various data consumers, the persona management system uses the metadata to identify users matching specified search criteria.

  • Publication number: 20210323807
Abstract: The device disclosed within as a reusable fuel pump handle guard. A user holds the handle guard in his or her hand, with his palm against the grip, and fingers extending down the two parallel elements. He then applies the hand guard to the hand rest of the fuel pump. A shoulder located at the front edge of the grip prevents the user's hand from sliding too far forward and off the handle guard. The flexible material of the handle guard allows the user to bend the receiving element toward the latching element, around the grip of the gas pump, and underneath the handle of the gas pump actuating the pump ultimately passing the hook of the latching element into the hole of the receiving element.
