  • Patent number: 11942285
Abstract: An electronic device has a keyboard with an internal membrane. The membrane has a set of strain gauges configured to respond to a key press, such as when a collapsible dome collapses into contact with the membrane. The strain gauges are connected in a half Wheatstone bridge configuration and are positioned on the membrane in order to limit effects of temperature and subtle flexure of the membrane. The strain gauges are also configured to magnify detection of a resistance differential when a keycap is pressed with sufficient force.

  • Patent number: 11940317
Abstract: A filter device and methods of use thereof are provided. The filter device may include a pitcher for removably engaging with a base in fluid communication with a fluid source. The pitcher may include a magnetic float assembly, and the base may include a sensor, e.g., a Reed switch, for detecting when a magnetic float of the magnetic float assembly is within a detectable range of the sensor. Upon detection of the magnetic float within the detectable range by the sensor, a controller of the filter device may instruct a pump to pump fluid from the fluid source, through a filtration system of the filter device, and into the pitcher. When the pitcher is full of fluid, the magnetic float will be out of the detectable range of the sensor, such that fluid will stop being transferred from the fluid source to the pitcher.

  • Patent number: 11940498
Abstract: Passive monitoring the integrity of current sensing devices and associated circuitry in GFCI and AFCI protective devices is provided. A protection circuit interrupter employs a capacitively coupled noise signal obtained by an arrangement of one or both of line side arms relative to a Rogowski coil. The noise signal is monitored while the line and load sides of a protective circuit interrupter are disconnected, and the connection of the line and load sides disabled if the noise signal fails to correlate sufficiently to a reference noise cycle. When the line and load sides are connected, the RMS value of the observed current signal is monitored such that the line and load sides are disconnected if the observed current signal fails to meet an RMS threshold. The observed current signal is compensated by subtracting the reference noise cycle prior to monitoring for the fault condition applicable to the protective device.

  • Publication number: 20240095645
Abstract: A method of generating customizable goal representation is disclosed. A request from a user to view a goal representation is received. A flexible goal ontology is accessed that comprises one or more goal entities, one or more goal relationships between the goal entities, or one or more goal properties, the one or more goal properties including one or more metadata attributes relating to the one or more goal entities. A set of mapping rules is obtained that defines mappings between one or more goals. The set of mapping rules is evaluated to assemble a customized goal representation tailored to the user. The customized goal representation is updated based on a revaluation of the mapping rules affected by changes to the one or more goal entities, the one or more goal relationships, or the one or more properties.

  • Publication number: 20240098106
Abstract: Technologies for generating a set of models for each account, where each model is a fine-grained, unsupervised behavior model trained for each user to monitor and detect anomalous patterns are described. An unsupervised training pipeline can generate user models, each being associated with one of multiple accounts and is trained to detect an anomalous pattern using feature data associated with the one account. Each account is associated with at least one of a user, a machine, or a service. An inference pipeline can detect a first anomalous pattern in first data associated with a first account using a first user model. The inference pipeline can detect a second anomalous pattern in second data associated with a second account using a second user model.

  • Publication number: 20240085914
Abstract: In various examples, techniques for determining perception zones for object detection are described. For instance, a system may use a dynamic model associated with an ego-machine, a dynamic model associated with an object, and one or more possible interactions between the ego-machine and the object to determine a perception zone. The system may then perform one or more processes using the perception zone. For instance, if the system is validating a perception system of the ego-machine, the system may determine whether a detection error associated with the object is a safety-critical error based on whether the object is located within the perception zone. Additionally, if the system is executing within the ego-machine, the system may determine whether the object is a safety-critical object based on whether the object is located within the perception zone.
