The method comprises receiving a request for mobile communication service provider billing approval from a payment processor, wherein the request comprises one of a phone number associated with a mobile communication service account or an equipment identification of a mobile communication device associated with the mobile communication service account, wherein the request comprises a processor routing number, wherein the processor routing number is consistent in format with one of a block of credit card numbers maintained by a mobile communication service provider, and wherein the processor routing number is used by different mobile communication devices associated with different mobile communication service accounts to complete payments.

Abstract: A method of adapting assignment of user equipments (UEs) to home location registers (HLRs) in a wireless communication network. The method comprises receiving location messages from a UE by an application executing on a computer system, where each of the location messages comprise information about a location of the UE at a date and time, analyzing the information about the locations of the UE by the application, selecting a HLR assignment rule based on a user profile associated with the UE by the application, applying the selected HLR assignment rule to the analysis of the information about locations of the UE by the application to determine a preferred HLR in the wireless communication network for the UE, and reassigning the UE from a previously assigned HLR to the preferred HLR by the application.

Abstract: A server hosting an electronic shopping application comprises a processor, a memory, and an application stored in the memory that receives a request for electronic shopping content from a mobile communication device, confirms the mobile communication device receives service from a participating wireless provider, routes the request through an internet gateway of the wireless provider, and receives a request to buy an item from the mobile communication device. Abstract: A media player is provided. The media player comprises a communications interface, a memory store containing a plurality of personalized advertisements, and a media playback component. The targeted advertisements are refreshed by receiving updates from the communications interface during some of the intervals when the media player is connected to a network. The targeted advertisements are indexed by a plurality of characteristics, the first characteristic being a creation date of the targeted advertisements. The media playback component is configured to play a media content, wherein the media content is stored separately from the targeted advertisements, and to play one of the targeted advertisements in the memory store selected based on the characteristics of the one of the targeted advertisements.

The content presentation mediation application receives a request by the primary SDK from the mobile application for content to be rendered, transmits a request by the primary SKD for content to a content bidding exchange, receives a winning content bid that comprises a content token by the primary SDK from the content bidding exchange, transmits a request by the secondary SDK for content comprising the content token to a content server, receives content by the secondary SDK from the content server, and renders the content received from the content server by the secondary SKD according to rendering logic provided by the secondary SDK.

Abstract: A system for audio object delivery based on audible frequency analysis comprises a network server comprising non-transitory memory storing an application that, in response to execution, the network server: ingests a plurality of audio clip messages that each comprise metadata and an audio clip file. For at least one audio clip message, the network server reduces the audio clip file to a predefined time length, creates a plurality of time bins, determines that a first time bin and a second time bin correspond with a trigger sound frequency, generates a spectral flatness value, determines a frequency band identifier, and appends the generated spectral flatness value and the frequency band identifier to the audio clip message. The network server assigns the appended audio clip message to a voice matrix, identifies user equipment based on the voice matrix, and initiates delivery of an audio object to the identified user equipment.

Abstract: A method is provided for communication by a mobile telecommunication device. The method comprises detecting, by the mobile telecommunication device, an input related to an advertisement displayed on the mobile telecommunication device and associated with an online merchant. Abstract: A method of thwarting infiltration of malware onto a mobile communication device. The method comprises a filtering application executing on an ad gateway server computer analyzing a mobile advertisement by to determine a signature of the mobile advertisement, where the signature comprises at least one of a brand identity, a color scheme, a reference image, and a font type, searching a rules data store using the signature of the mobile advertisement as a search key to obtain a first rule, and identifying a first mobile presentation context in the first rule. The method further comprises the filtering application determining that a mobile presentation context of a mobile communication device to which the mobile advertisement is directed by matches the first mobile presentation context and the filtering application blocking transmission of the mobile advertisement from the ad gateway server to the mobile communication device.

Abstract: A wireless communication service subscriber authentication platform includes a processor, memory, and an application stored in the memory that, when executed by the processor: receives a request to authenticate a user from an enterprise (the request identifies a phone number of a user equipment device (UE) and an identity of a mobile communication service subscriber associated with the UE); determines a wireless communication service provider that provides wireless communication service to the UE based on the phone number of the UE; sends a request for information about the mobile communication service subscriber to the wireless communication service provider (the information request comprises the phone number of the UE and the identity of the subscriber); receives information from the wireless communication service provider determined to provide service to the UE; and sends an authentication response to the enterprise.

Abstract: Systems and methods for completing a transaction using an applet associated with a companion applet on portable electronic device. A least a portion of information from a user profile is obtained by the companion applet from a secure element on the portable electronic device using an application programming interface (API). The portion of information is then passed to the mobile applet and used to populate the fields needed for the vendor or payment processor to complete the transaction, and the transaction is treated as a card-present transaction.

Abstract: A method of authenticating a call origination directed to an enterprise call center. The method comprises receiving a first call origination message from a communication network by a computer system, wherein the first call origination message comprises an automatic number identification (ANI) storing a first phone number, determining by the computer system that the first phone number is not associated with an originator of the first call origination message, and responsive to determining that the first phone number is not associated with the originator of the first call origination message, dropping the first call origination message by the computer system and not answering the associated call, whereby the enterprise call center reduces its vulnerability to call origination spoofing.

Abstract: Methods, devices, and products utilize wireless-backup technologies to provide contact-reconciliation services with respect to sets of contacts stored on mobile devices. One embodiment of the inventions includes receiving an indication of an update event associated with a first set of contacts on a first mobile device, updating a remotely-stored copy of the first set of contacts, determining that a remotely-stored copy of a second set of contacts does not include a portion of contact information corresponding to the first mobile device, and updating the remotely-stored copy of the second set of contacts. In an embodiment, the remotely-stored copy of the second set of contacts is synchronized with the second set of contacts, thereby updating the second set of contacts.

The method further comprises receiving a plurality of message from a second sub-set of portable electronic devices addressed to the second short code. The method further comprises automatically analyzing the messages based on the first short code and the second short code. The method further comprises allocating customer care resources to respond to the messages based on the analysis.

Abstract: The systems and methods discussed herein enable telecommunications service providers to track opt-ins (consent) to premium service and goods purchases. An industry aggregator gateway may be employed to receive short codes in messages built by IP messaging applications capable of data transmission, and may transmit the messages to telecommunications service providers and receive purchase information associated with various short codes. At least some of this purchase information is displayed to users to obtain consent to the purchase, and the consent trail from the request to the acceptance of purchase information, including terms and charges, is tracked and stored.

Abstract: A portable electronic device is provided comprising a processor, a memory, a display, and an application stored in the memory that, when executed by the processor, initiates a plurality of user agents that each indicate a different communication point. The portable electronic device also transmits a request for a content from each of the user agents to a content source, the requests being transmitted substantially concurrently. The portable electronic device also receives a plurality of contents, each content associated with one of the user agents and each content formatted differently than the remaining contents. The portable electronic also presents one of the contents on the display, wherein the portable electronic device promotes concurrent downloading of a content in multiple formats from the content source.
