  • Publication number: 20210233414
Abstract: Systems and methods provide dynamically modifiable parameters in required time of arrival (RTA) speed regions of an assigned flight path of an aircraft. The system includes a vertical situation display (VSD) rendering thereon a vertical flight profile of the assigned flight path. A control module is coupled to the display system and configured to: demark the vertical flight profile with a plurality of RTA speed regions related to an initial speed profile; render an RTA speed band graphic having demarked sections vertically representing a speed minimum and speed maximum for an respective RTA speed region, the RTA speed band graphic representing a normalized speed range between zero and a maximum value for each respective RTA speed region. The control module accepts user modifications and updates the RTA speed band graphic and the current speed profile to reflect user input.

  • Publication number: 20200346094
Abstract: A golf training system and methods that analyzes user specified inputs comprising: (1) distance of the golf ball from the hole (STEPS); (2) an estimate of how much the terrain between the ball and the hole will cause the ball to diverge from a straight line of travel from its location on the golf surface to the hole (BREAK); and (3) an estimate of terrain rise or fall between the golf ball and the hole (HILL). The analysis includes an equation that calculates a FORCE value and an AIM value that is converted to a unit of measure and provided as an output that a golfer may apply during play using one or more calibration guide apparatuses, thereby training a user to improve stroke accuracy and precision.

  • Publication number: 20200109603
Abstract: A drilling rig mobility system moves a drilling rig or similar structure in an oilfield or similar environment and includes independently controllable positioning shoes attaching to the drilling rig and controllable through separate and coordinated position control commands. Each positioning shoe may be individually addressed to reposition the drilling rig. Each positioning shoe includes a hydraulic actuator and wireless control circuitry. The hydraulic actuator provides vertical and horizontal force in response to wireless control signals for wireless position and control data and instructions with a remote wireless communications device. A cylinder stomper vertically elevates the hydraulic actuator and receives and transfers the vertical force. A foot assembly transfers the horizontal force from the hydraulic actuator. A positioning shoe cylinder stomper and positioning shoe traverse cylinder provide infinitely variable position control. Rotational positioning may be manually or automatically achieved.
