  • Patent number: 10362254
Abstract: A digital focal plane array includes an all-digital readout integrated circuit in combination with a detector array. The readout circuit includes unit cell electronics, orthogonal transfer structures, and data handling structures. The unit cell electronics include an analog to digital converter. Orthogonal transfer structures enable the orthogonal transfer of data among the unit cells. Data handling structures may be configured to operate the digital focal plane array as a data encryptor/decipherer. Data encrypted and deciphered by the digital focal plane array need not be image data.

  • Publication number: 20190182233
Abstract: A permissions management system is disclosed for enabling a user to securely authorize a third-party system to access user account data and initiate transactions related to a user account, without disclosing to the third-party system account credentials. The system enables the user to also securely de-authorize the third-party system. For example, records may be automatically generated that securely store account information, including one or more permissions related to the account and/or the third-party. A token associated with a record may be shared with the third-party system, but neither the record itself, nor the user account credentials, may be shared with the third-party. Accordingly, the third-party may request user account data and/or initiate transactions by providing the token, but does not itself know, e.g., the user account credentials. Further, the user may set various permissions related to the token, and may also revoke the token (e.g.

  • Publication number: 20190139288
Abstract: Articulated assemblies are all around us in nature as well as within the artificial environments and artificial systems we create. Computer based simulations are used to view, analyze, and modify motion specifications and sequences for articulated assemblies in the generation of avatars for multimedia and designing robotic/android systems. Articulated assembly specifications along with terrain and physical laws are employed in establishing an actuation and motion sequence for the assembly. However, other factors such as emotion, state of mind, etc. impact how the assembly actually moves and the physical aspect of the assembly. Embodiments of the invention allow for management of cyclic and acyclic elements to the overall motion through graphical user interfaces as well as the rapid establishment of new motion models through fractional combination of existing motion models as well as the association of a motion model to multiple articulated assemblies allowing simulations of herds, crowds etc.

  • Patent number: 10194512
Abstract: A network device for controlling an electric light or other remote electrical device. In addition to features found in standard light switches, such as cover plates, housings, switching elements, and internal wiring, the network device may include a cover plate with embedded cover circuitry for performing advanced functions unavailable to standard light switches. Functions performed by the cover circuitry include advanced electrical communication, data processing, user interfacing, sensing, displaying, rule creation, and the like. The cover circuitry may receive electric power via a set of contact elements located on the wall-facing side of the cover plate that electrically couple with a similar set of contact elements located on the room-facing side of the housing. The coupling of contact elements may form a set of buses that enable data communication between the cover circuitry and circuitry within the housing.
