  • Publication number: 20170305659
Abstract: A liner (10) is disclosed for use with a bulk container having mounting posts (20) along a top edge (18). The liner has a liner body (23) which has top wall (26), a bottom wall (27), a front wall (28), a liner rear wall (29) and two side walls (30). The liner also includes a front mounting tab (40) and a rear mounting tab (41). Each mounting tab is mounted to and extends across the vast majority of the width of the liner body. Each mounting tab has two semi-circular cuts therethrough which form liner front mounting openings (43) and (44). This orientation allows for the mounting posts to be positioned upon the curved portion of the openings to aid in distributing pulling forces upon the tabs to restrict tearing of the material along the openings.

  • Patent number: 9767160
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computer implemented method of determining a similarity score of a plurality of data records with a target data record in a data set. The similarity score allows a user to identify secondary data records, or pairs of data records, that disclose similar concepts. Also disclosed herein is a computer implemented method for presentation and visual navigation of a data set including related data records. The presentation of a data set using the disclosed method allows users of to quickly identify data records that are very similar to a data record of interest. The data set may include directly connected or indirectly connected patents.

  • Publication number: 20170128799
Abstract: A sporting-good implement, such as a ball bat or a lacrosse stick, includes a first handle section rotatably connected to a second handle section. The second handle section may be attached to or integral with a tapered region or barrel region of a ball bat, or with a shaft section or head of a lacrosse stick, or with another sporting-good feature. This rotatable engagement allows the relative position of the user's hands to change during the course of a swing, shot, or pass, ideally placing the user's hands in a position to generate improved power or control.

  • Publication number: 20170118110
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a sticky canary router routes each request associated with a service to either a canary cluster of servers that implement a modification to the service or a baseline cluster of servers that do not implement the modification. The sticky canary router implements a mapping algorithm that determines the routing of each request based on a current time, a time window for the routing, and a characteristic of the request. Notably, the mapping algorithm may be implemented such that, for time segments with duration equal to the time window, the sticky canary router routes all requests received from a particular device in a consistent fashion—either to the canary cluster or to a baseline cluster. Configured thusly, the sticky canary router enables the analysis of approximately full sections of client interactions with the canary servers, thereby facilitating identification of client-side effects of the changes.

  • Patent number: 9325741
Abstract: A network analysis tool is provided in support of a data communication network having dynamically provisioned devices at indeterminate endpoints wherein templates, namely, the collection of meta-data about dynamically provisioned devices on a network (beyond the conventional networking concept of an endpoint address), are modeled as fixed endpoints for purposes of tracking. In a specific embodiment, template groups are generated as network interfaces for a modeled template enforcement device, and template groups are represented as if they are network endpoints connected to a template enforcement device, and a device description for the template enforcement device is produced.

  • Patent number: 9325719
Abstract: A network analysis tool is provided in support of a data communication network having user devices at indeterminate endpoints wherein user identities, namely, the collection of meta-data about a user device of a network (beyond the conventional networking concept of an endpoint address), is modeled as fixed endpoints for purposes of tracking. More specifically, users at indeterminate endpoints are identified by modeling using user roles as models of the user devices.

  • Patent number: 9185207
Abstract: A caller information server provides caller identification (ID) information to a mobile device. The server receives caller ID information from local address books stored on multiple mobile devices. The caller information server aggregates the received caller ID information to generate a pooled address book. The caller information server may determine whether names within the caller ID information are legitimate and store or filter the information accordingly. When a mobile device receives a call from a telephone number for which it lacks caller ID information in its local address book, the mobile device sends a request for the caller ID information for the telephone number, to the caller information server. The server identifies caller ID information associated with the telephone number in the pooled address book, and sends this information to the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20150251067
Abstract: A hockey-stick blade includes a heel region, a toe region spaced longitudinally from the heel region, and a mid-region located between the heel region and the toe region. The toe region includes one or more reinforcing elements, optionally of different lengths, located at different vertical positions within the toe region. The blade further includes a hosel that optionally is tailored to substantially match the strength and stiffness characteristics of an attached or integral hockey-stick shaft. The mid-region of the blade exhibits improved feel and flexibility characteristics due to the increased stiffness in the toe region.

  • Publication number: 20140308641
Abstract: A shoelace tying device which acts as a learning aide and assistant for individuals who may lack the capacity either mentally and/or physically to fully grasp and complete all of the steps required to tie one's shoe laces. The device consists of a solid thin piece of material which fastens to a shoe's shoelace with a clip on its backside. The device also consists of four holes on the top which pass from front to back and two hooks on the bottom end of the device. The two inner holes are used to cinch the starting knot of a double bow knot tight and hold it in place. The two outer holes and hooks are used to assist in forming and holding the loops in place while the user forms the knot using their method of choice. In addition, the front contains an image which is intended to excite and inspire the user to learn one or more of the many loop type methods used to tie one's shoelaces.
