  • Publication number: 20230347121
Abstract: An expandable introducer sheath with an interlock dilator. The present technology provides an expandable sheath with a step feature inside its distal opening, and a dilator with an interlock that includes a catch surface configured to engage with the step feature and resist further relative movement so that the body of the dilator is prevented from exiting the distal end of the expandable sheath. This interlocking engagement may allow the dilator to be used to extend and maintain tension on the expandable sheath during insertion into a patient, and then to be retracted from the expandable sheath by pulling the dilator in the opposite direction. The present technology also provides a dilator hub with a spring mechanism configured to achieve and maintain a desired tension on the expandable sheath and to prevent overextension of the expandable sheath when the dilator is being inserted into the expandable sheath.

  • Patent number: 11791557
Abstract: A multi-band software defined antenna array tile including a set of pairs of frequency converters associated with a respective coupled dipole array antenna element and comprising a principal polarization converter for applying an oscillating signal to a first partial beam-formed data stream to generate an oscillating partial beam-formed data stream, where the oscillating signal is associated with an oscillating signal frequency received from a memory operatively connected to a system controller. The principal polarization converter applies a three-stage halfband filter to the first oscillating partial beam-formed data stream to generate a filtered partial beam-formed data stream, applies time delay to the filtered partial beam-formed data stream to generate a first partial beam and transmits a partial beam along with other partial beams to a digital software system interface through a data transport bus.

  • Patent number: 11781945
Abstract: A method for determining a sidewall toughness index for a tire includes providing a first tire that includes a pair of sidewalls. A first physical test is conducted on a selected one of the sidewalls of the first tire, and a result of the first test is recorded. A second tire of the same type as the first tire is provided, and includes a pair of sidewalls. A second physical test is conducted on a selected one of the sidewalls of the second tire, and a result of the second test is recorded. The result of each of the first physical test and the second physical test is normalized.
