  • Publication number: 20230313045
Abstract: A system for separating bitumen from shingle powder includes: a blender; a solvent tank in fluid communication with the blender; a water tank in fluid communication with the blender; a decanting tank in fluid communication with the blender; a distillation tank in fluid communication with the decanting tank; and a plurality of pumps for pumping fluids between various components of the system or out of the system. When the system is in use, the blender receives and mixes solvent from the solvent tank with shingle powder containing bitumen to produce a bitumen-infused solvent. Water is supplied to the blender from the water tank to wash an interior of the blender. Bitumen-infused solvent received in the decanting tank from the blender is separated from excess water. Bitumen within the bitumen-infused solvent is isolated within the distillation tank.

  • Publication number: 20230311184
Abstract: A device used to bend metal tube and pipe past 180 degrees in one stroke of a cylinder with rope or cable. The hydraulic tube and pipe bender comprises a main body having two openings on each end with a hydraulic cylinder in the middle. A swivel device is attached at one end of the cylinder to control the force of each rope or cable and acts as a safety device always keeping one rope or cable attached. A magnet is used to place over a degree indicator to get the exact bend you want in a tube by means of a limit switch that triggers when the magnet trips it. Plates are parallel with each other on top of the main tube to hold the dies. Two leverage wheels are used to hold the ropes or cables to get the designed force to bend the tube or pipe.

  • Publication number: 20230299588
Abstract: A utility-scale energy storage and conversion system can operate two or more inverter groups such that their reactive power commands are proportional to their available reactive power range. The control system can therefore distribute the reactive power commands in proportion to the available Q range, thereby ensuring that all inverters in the utility-scale energy storage and conversion system 100 operate with the same Q “headroom”. In addition, the utility-scale energy storage and conversion system can use an on-load tap changer (LTC) to adjust a terminal voltage associated with a first group of inverters and a second group of inverters. The first group of inverters can be associated with a first rating and the second group of inverters can be associated with a second rating that is greater than the first rating.
