  • Publication number: 20240066741
Abstract: A cutting device for cutting a pipe having a pipe wall. The cutting device includes an elongate carrier having a tool end which is engageable with a power tool and an opposed free end. The device includes a guide wheel located at the free end of the carrier which is loosely mounted thereon for rotation relative thereto, having a bearing surface extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the carrier. The device also includes a cutting element having a peripheral cutting edge which is located adjacent to the guide wheel being positioned intermediate the guide wheel and the tool end. The cutting element is of greater transverse dimension than the guide wheel so that when the bearing surface bears against an internal surface of the pipe the distance between the cutting edge of the cutting element and the bearing surface enables the cutting element to cut through the pipe wall.

  • Patent number: 11917058
Abstract: Intelligent impedance injection modules (IIM)s are currently being used for line balancing and overcoming local disturbances on High Voltage (HV) transmission lines of an HV power grid. These distributed IIMs are connected and/or coupled to the HV transmission lines and operate with a pseudo ground at the voltage of the HV transmission line. In order to operate effectively, the IIMs need to communicate with other distributed IIMs across the three phases of the HV grid and also communicate with local intelligent centers LINCs that connect to and synchronize operations across each group of the distributed IIMs in a local region of the HV power grid. Systems and methods are presented for effective and secure sub-cyclic speed communication to and from the distributed IIMs, distributed IIMs to LINCs and substations to enable coordinated actions. Further the distributed IIMs and LINCs receive GPS signals and use the GPS clock for synchronizing operations.

  • Patent number: 11916771
Abstract: Embodiments are directed monitoring network traffic using network monitoring computers. Metrics may be determined based on monitoring network traffic associated with entities in the network such that the metrics may be included in profiles associated each entity. The profiles may be compared with other profiles in a context database based on the metrics included in each profile and each other profile. In response to the profiles being unmatched by other profiles one or more active probes may be performed to collect other metrics that may be used to update profiles. In response to the one or more profiles being matched by the other profiles in the context database, a timestamp associated with the other profiles may be updated to a current time value. Reports that include information associated with the entities and the profiles or the updated profiles may be generated.

  • Publication number: 20240057864
Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a first computing system, electrocardiogram (ECG) data and metadata associated with the ECG data. The metadata includes an initial cardiac event classification and an initial beat classification for beats occurring during a first event associated with the initial cardiac event classification. The method further includes displaying the ECG data in a user interface, receiving a command to change the initial cardiac event classification to a subsequent cardiac event classification, and automatically modifying the initial beat classifications to subsequent beat classifications based on the subsequent cardiac event classification.

  • Publication number: 20240057940
Abstract: A method includes obtaining test criteria for a monitor configured to be attached to a user; obtaining reference data; determining, based on the test criteria and the reference data, a detached state of the monitor. The determining the detached state includes performing a set of tests indicated in the test criteria. The set of tests includes a first test corresponding to a first power consumption by the monitor; and a second test different from the first test. The second test corresponds to a second power consumption by the monitor, and the second power consumption is larger than the first power consumption. The method further includes automatically modifying, in response to the determining the detached state, an operating mode of the monitor.

  • Patent number: 11899683
Abstract: A digital asset management system (DAMS) provides an integrated user experience for the rapid and facile manipulation of a users digital assets in an online environment. Spanning the spectrum of digital assets, the DAMS system set forth herein enables users to tag, fitter, collect, and show such digital assets in a manner which requires preferably minimal user interaction in order to achieve digital asset management and exhibition. Sharing among friends and family becomes much easier and incoming digital assets may be automatically segregated according to user choices or history to enable easier management of such assets. Recognition of relationships, characteristics, features, and the like between different assets may occur automatically and develop an ongoing fashion to enable association of such similar assets into “collections” or the like.

  • Patent number: 11893540
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a shared collaborative channel for collaboration are provided. In particular, a computing device may receive a request, from an originating member of an organization, to create the shared collaborative channel, the request including an invitee to be added to the shared collaborative channel. In response to receipt of the request, the computing device may provision a substrate group by creating a container associate with the shared collaborative channel including a substrate database associated with the shared collaborative channel, generate an invitation including a custom link to the shared collaborative channel for the invitee, and determine whether the invitee belongs to an originating collaboration team associated with the originating member based on the substrate database. If the invitee belongs to the originating collaboration team, the computing device may further update the substrate group to add the invitee as a new member of the shared collaborative channel.

  • Patent number: 11893096
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for computer user authentication using machine learning. Authentication for a user is initiated based on an identification confidence score of the user. The identification confidence score is based on one or more characteristics of the user. Using a machine learning model for the user, user activity of the user is monitored for anomalous activity to generate first data. Based on the monitoring, differences between the first data and historical utilization data for the user determine whether the user's utilization of the one or more resources is anomalous. When the user's utilization of the one or more resource is anomalous, the user's access to the one or more resource is removed.

  • Publication number: 20240036620
Abstract: Systems and methods are described in which the location of a tap on the body of a handheld device is determined in real time using data streams from an embedded inertial measurement unit (IMU). Taps may be generated by striking the handheld device with an object (e.g., a finger), or by moving the handheld device in a manner that causes it to strike another object. IMU accelerometer, gyroscopic and/or orientation (relative to the magnetic and/or gravitational pull of the earth) measurements are examined for signatures that distinguish a tap at a location on the body of the device compared with signal characteristics produced by taps at other locations. Neural network and/or numerical methods may be used to perform such classifications.
