  • Patent number: 11837670
Abstract: An imaging device may include single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs). To improve the sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio of the SPADs, light scattering structures may be formed in the semiconductor substrate to increase the path length of incident light through the semiconductor substrate. To mitigate crosstalk, multiple rings of isolation structures may be formed around the SPAD. An outer deep trench isolation structure may include a metal filler such as tungsten and may be configured to absorb light. The outer deep trench isolation structure therefore prevents crosstalk between adjacent SPADs. Additionally, one or more inner deep trench isolation structures may be included. The inner deep trench isolation structures may include a low-index filler to reflect light and keep incident light in the active area of the SPAD.

  • Publication number: 20230374574
Abstract: Efficient methods for production of targeted libraries from complex samples is desirable for a variety of nucleic acid analyses. Provided are methods of selectively blocking abundant targets present in a sample for preparing libraries of target nucleic acid sequences, thereby allowing for rapid production of highly multiplexed targeted libraries and analysis of low frequency sequences, including sequencing applications. Methods optionally include use of unique tag sequences. Methods comprise contacting a nucleic acid sample with a plurality of target specific primers or adapters capable of amplification of one or more target nucleic acid sequences under conditions wherein the target nucleic acid(s) undergo a first amplification; digesting the resulting first amplification products; ligating the digested target amplicons or repairing the digested target amplicons; and amplifying the ligated or repaired products in a second amplification, thereby producing a library of target nucleic acid sequence.

  • Patent number: 11816501
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for managing high volumes of alerts to increase security, reduce noise, reduce duplication of work, and increase productivity of analysts dealing with and triaging alerts. A work unit queue may be configured to buffer or smooth workflows and decouple heavy processing which may improve performance and scalability to prevent duplicate assignments. Queueing services provide lag times to prevent over-assignment or double assignment of alerts to work units. System security may be improved by creating an authentication or verification step before allowing users to update alert statuses such that only users with work unit tokens that match alert tokens may update alert statuses.
