Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to an article of footwear having an upper and a sole coupled to the upper. The sole includes an insole for receiving a foot of a wearer and a sole member disposed below the insole to support the foot of the wearer. The sole member includes a web extending along a length of the sole and a plurality of pillars projecting upwardly from the web toward the insole. The plurality of pillars each include a curved sidewall and a lid extending from an upper end of the curved sidewall. The curved sidewall and the lid define a cavity. The web and the plurality of pillars of the sole member are unitary and made of an elastomeric material that allows the pillars to flex or deform at a compressed state and return to an upright position at a relaxed state.

The shield plate has a central zone, an annular zone surrounding the central zone, having a rear side that points toward the ceiling panel, and a flat gas outlet surface pointing toward the process chamber, in which gas outlet openings terminate. The rear side in the central zone defines a rear plane running parallel to the gas outlet surface. The shield plate has a material thickness between 3 to 12 mm, and that the shield plate is spaced apart from the ceiling plate by a gap having a height between 0.3 to 1 mm.

Abstract: Implementations are directed to utilizing an assistant to automatically navigate an interactive voice response (IVR) tree to arrive at a target state during an assisted telephone call. The assistant can receive input to initiate the assisted telephone call, identify an entity to engage with, on behalf of the user, and during the assisted telephone call, based on the input, and identify an IVR tree stored in association with the entity. In various implementations, navigation of the IVR tree can be modified based on interaction(s) detected at a client device subsequent to initiating the assisted telephone call. In various implementations, the assisted telephone call can be initiated from a search interface, and the target state can be associated with a given search result. In various implementations, the IVR tree can be dynamic in that only a subset of candidate state(s) of the IVR tree may be available as the target state.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of preparing whitened tobacco composition including chemically pulping a tobacco material to form a tobacco pulp, extracting the tobacco pulp with an extraction solution, treating the tobacco pulp with a solution comprising an oxidizing agent for a time and at a temperature sufficient to lighten the color of the tobacco pulp to give a whitened tobacco pulp, and drying the whitened tobacco pulp to provide the whitened tobacco composition. Alternative bleaching processes and treatment methods effective for preparing whitened tobacco compositions are also provided herein.

Abstract: A method for increasing a detection distance of a surface of an object illuminated by near-IR electromagnetic radiation, including: (a) directing near-IR electromagnetic radiation from a near-IR electromagnetic radiation source towards an object at least partially coated with a near-IR reflective coating that increases a near-IR electromagnetic radiation detection distance by at least 15% as measured at a wavelength in a near-IR range as compared to the same object coated with a color matched coating which absorbs more of the same near-IR radiation, where the color matched coating has a ?E color matched value of 1.5 or less when compared to the near-IR reflective coating; and (b) detecting reflected near-IR electromagnetic radiation reflected from the near-IR reflective coating. A system for detecting proximity of vehicles is also disclosed.

A user wearing the HMD can use hands-free or touch-free actions to interact with a user interface for EAMS information displayed by the HMD (e.g., 3D augmented reality graphics) or by a display monitor (e.g., 2D graphics). For example, the processing system updates the position of a cursor on the display monitor to track a gaze direction of the user as determined by the HMD.

Methods of analyzing cytological samples may include disposing a cytological sample on a microscope slide adjacent to a spacer positioned on the microscope slide, focusing an optical module of a microscope to a focal plane using at least a portion of the spacer as a focal reference, and viewing the cytological sample through the optical module of the microscope at the focal plane. Abstract: The present technique provides an apparatus and method for caching data. The apparatus has a cache storage to cache data associated with memory addresses, a first interface to receive access requests, where each access request is a request to access data at a memory address indicated by that access request, and a second interface to couple to a memory controller used to control access to memory. Further, cache control circuitry is used to control allocation of data into the cache storage in accordance with a power consumption based allocation policy that seeks to select which data is cached in the cache storage with the aim of conserving power associated with accesses to the memory via the second interface.

Other implementations receive a request to perform an action on behalf of a user, identify a group of entities that can perform the action, and initiate a given call with a given entity. During the given call, the assistant can initiate an additional call with an additional entity, and generate notification(s), for the user, based on result(s) of the given call and/or the additional call.
