  • Patent number: 10978066
Abstract: A method and system for determining whether a conversation topic induces stress in participants of the conversation that includes registering participants of a conversation with a conversation content control system, wherein said registering the participants includes providing a listing of social media accounts for each of the participants. The method may further include developing a baseline of avoidance topics from user content selected from the group consisting of capturing training conversation characterized into the avoidance topics by natural language processing (NLP), analyzing the social media accounts for content to be characterized into said avoidance topics, and combinations thereof. The method may further include monitoring real time conversation using natural language processing (NLP) to discern avoidance topics from the real time conversation.

  • Patent number: 10976904
Abstract: Interaction with a chatbot of a computer system is facilitated by receiving, by the chatbot, a request from a user of the chatbot, where the request establishes a user-chatbot interaction. Based at least in part on the request, a plurality of predicted chatbot paths are generated, forming a hierarchy of predicted chatbot content for the user-chatbot interaction. A graphical chatbot interface including, at least in part, the hierarchy of predicted chatbot content for the user-chatbot interaction is provided for display on an electronic device, and a selection by the user of one predicted chatbot path of the graphical chatbot interface is received, via the electronic device, as part of the user-chatbot interaction, where the providing of the graphical chatbot interface facilitates user interaction with the chatbot along the selected predicted chatbot path.

  • Patent number: 10977921
Abstract: A method and system for issuing medical alerts that includes receiving permission from a user to register the user with a medical alert system. With permission from the user, registering includes setting a medical history for a baseline of the user, and linking the system with a wearable device including a light source for signaling changes in the users medical condition. The method also includes linking a monitoring device to the medical alert system; and measuring changes in the health status of the user with the monitoring device. In some embodiments, the method further includes determining with a cognitive risk evaluating engine of the medical alert system a level of medical alert provided by a setting of the light source that corresponds the users health. The method can further include illuminating the light source at the level of the medical alert designed by the cognitive risk evaluating engine for signaling the changes in the users medical condition.

  • Patent number: 10970858
Abstract: A method for identifying the status of object within a region that includes designating at least one piece of equipment to be tracked and recording a history for the piece of equipment. The method may further include detecting when the piece of equipment is present within a region having a set of object restrictions. The method further includes comparing the set of object restrictions for the region to the history that is recorded for the piece of equipment that is present in the region to calculate a placement score with a hardware processor that indicates whether the history of the equipment is a match for the region that the equipment is present in. A sensory signal may be projector onto the equipment in an augmented reality setting, the sensory signal indicating whether the history of the equipment is a match for the region that the equipment is present in.

  • Patent number: 10965631
Abstract: Activity-related relevance processing of an electronic message includes receiving, by a processor(s) user-related data indicative of a current activity of a user, and parsing, by the processor(s), content of the electronic message for an electronic device of the user. The parsing includes using natural language processing of the electronic message. An activity-related relevance of the electronic message to the user is determined, by the processor(s), based on the user-related data and the parsed content of the electronic message. Based at least in part on the determined activity-related relevance, the electronic message is processed for the user's electronic device.

  • Patent number: 10958458
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and a system include a processor(s) that monitors an event, as a proxy for an invitee, to assign or periodically update a value (the value shifts temporally during the event). The processor(s) monitors the event by analyzing sentiment and emotion in verbal content, generate a speech baseline for each attendee, i.e., tone neutral vocal communication patterns, determine an aggregate tone for the event, and generating and progressive update, during the monitoring, the value (the value represents deviations in tone from the aggregate tone in portions of the verbal content proximate to an occurrence of one or more keywords relevant to the invitee, based on the aggregate tone and the speech baseline for each of the one or more attendees). The processor(s) determine that the value has exceeded a threshold and trigger an action to facilitate connection of the invitee to the event.

  • Patent number: 10957109
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention define different boundary dimension values for different respective areas relative to a reference geographic location as a function of values of attributes of an event occurring at the location and of a user of an augmented reality device. Aspects thus render the area within a display of the reference geographic location by a display device of the user augmented reality device in a display format that visually distinguishes the visually rendered areas from each other within display of the reference geographic location, the format conveys different values of use permission determined for the user for each of the areas as a function of event and user attribute values; dynamically revise one of the boundary dimension values in response to a change in attribute value of the location and the event; and revise the area rendering as a function of the revised boundary dimension value.
