  • Patent number: 10929596
Abstract: A method and system for using vocal patterns of a user for modifying an electronic dictionary is provided. The method includes continuously retrieving vocal communications of a user and converting the vocal communications into text data. Common terms communicated by the user are selected from the text data and resulting linguistic patterns are determined. In response, a weighted prioritization list of the common terms is generated and electronic dictionary software is modified accordingly. A specified electronic communication currently being entered into the electronic device is monitored and each term of the specified electronic communication is analyzed. In response to the analysis, suggested terms for entering within the specific electronic communication are presented via a graphical user interface of the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20210049196
Abstract: Disambiguation of search keywords to expert systems is performed through the application of a semantic ranking function to determine a classification category with confidence for a given query. The semantic ranking function is executed through an application of a semantic distance distribution profile score through analysis of user problem statement (UPS) with nodes in the taxonomy in the same vector space to create a search that combines a user problem statement and a taxonomical node in the search engine index. The distribution profile score calculation is provenance influenced to derive geographic, cultural, and demographic provenance for a user problem statement.

  • Patent number: 10924417
Abstract: Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: predicting an upcoming communication content in a current channel based on learning input data from a plurality of sources relevant to a communication activity of a user. A user response to the predicted content is assessed and a communication channel model for the factors including the input data is selected. A user satisfaction level with the current channel is checked against a predefined threshold for the selected communication channel model. For the current channel that is less than satisfactory, an adaptive action is taken to adapt the current channel to another for the user.

  • Publication number: 20210034775
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for selectively customizing, modifying and changing performance parameters, capabilities and behaviors of AI devices within AI device networks by sharing user-selected portions of a knowledge corpus with other AI device networks. Selectively sharing parameters, learned behaviors, capabilities, and features of the knowledge corpus allows for AI devices within a second AI device network to mimic, clone or recreate the performance or behaviors of AI devices operating within the environment of a first AI device network. Users can create portable nodes that travel with the user and upon connecting with the second device network, identify AI devices that can be modified using the portions of the knowledge corpus to recreate selected portions of the first AI device network within the environment of the second AI device network either permanently or for a user-selected amount of time.

  • Patent number: 10907963
Abstract: A user may be aided in modifying a product that is an assemblage of parts. This aid may involve a processor obtaining images of a target part captured by the user on a mobile device camera. The processor may compare, based on the captured images and a plurality of images of identified parts, the target part to the identified parts. Based on the comparison, the processor may determine an identity of the target part. This aid may also involve a processor obtaining images of a first configuration of a partial assembly of the product captured by a mobile device camera. The processor may compare, based on the captured images, the first configuration to a correct configuration of the partial assembly. Based on the comparison, the processor may determine that the first configuration does not match the correct configuration and may notify the user accordingly.

  • Patent number: 10901570
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and a system where a processor(s) of a computing device identifies at least two displays coupled to the processor(s) to render visual objects to a user of the computing device, like a cursor, and processor(s) obtains instructions to render the cursor in various locations on the displays via an input device. The processor(s) obtain a display layout for the displays and resolutions of displays and generates an initial virtual desktop that includes physical real estate of the displays where the processor(s) renders visual objects. The processor(s) obtains a request and generates a simulacrum of the displays, in virtual space. The processor(s) displays, on a portion of the virtual desktop, the simulacrum. The processor(s) obtains, via the input device, a selection of a location on the simulacrum and automatically moves the cursor to a location on the virtual desktop that corresponds to the selected location.

  • Patent number: 10891568
Abstract: A method and system to assist people traveling together through a transport hub. Access to personal data is provided for members of a group of people traveling together through the transport hub for a trip. A preferred route is mapped, from a current location of the group, for each person to travel through the transport hub. A group route, which is route to be commonly used by each person of the group, is selected. Sub-groups of members are selected to travel through the transport hub together in response to matching personal data. The personal data, travel data for the group, and transport hub data corresponding to the transport hub are monitored. Each person is alerted, in response to the monitored values, to begin moving from the current location towards a departure location along the selected group route to arrive at the departure location at a desired arrival time.
