Patent number: 11833470Abstract: A single-stage or multi-stage biological odor control treatment system for the removal of target vapor compounds from a contaminated air stream consisting of a first stage (onsite non-potable water treatment) where raw collection system non-potable water is extracted from the sewer collection system, screened and sprayed over a media bed where it is treated to secondary effluent water quality and is collected in a tank. The onsite non-potable water treatment system effluent is then pumped to the biological odor control system. This onsite non-potable water treatment system effluent is used for irrigating either a single media bed, or multiple media beds, which require continuous moisture and a source of nutrients. The microorganisms use the odorous compounds in the foul air stream as a food source. Treated air is then discharged to the atmosphere. The odor control treatment system drain water is then returned into the source containment collection point.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2021Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Assignee: Anua International LLCInventors: Colin Bishop, Michael Busch, M. Patent number: 11829324Abstract: A method and indexing system indexes the content of a body of documents into a content index, and the metadata of the documents into a metadata index which is a parallel index to the content index. The metadata is copied into a data store that is easily accessible by the indexing system and is stored in native form. The indexing system can dynamically re-index the metadata from the native metadata in the data store to produce a new metadata index which is used to replace the original metadata index. Search queries received by a search engine associated with the indexing system are applied to both the content and metadata index and the results are merged for return.Type: GrantFiled: May 6, 2019Date of Patent: November 28, 2023Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: David O. Been, Michael Busch, Osamu Furusawa, Frederick S. Grennan, Fumihiko Terui, Justo L. Perez

Publication number: 20230372990Abstract: A method for monitoring and changing the position of at least one component, more particularly a running bar, slidingly guided within a press frame between abutments of the press frame is disclosed. A central alignment of the component within the press frame is continuously measured and the alignment of the component within the press frame is corrected as a function of the acquired measurement result by preferably automatically adjustable guide elements of the sliding guides of the press. The central alignment of the slidingly guided component within the press frame is measured by the sensing of the location of at least one, preferably two, reference points of the slidingly guided component preferably in a plane extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal center axis of the press. A press having automatically adjustable guide elements and means for controlling the guide elements as a function of the measured position of the component.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2021Publication date: November 23, 2023Applicant: SMS group GmbHInventors: David HÜSGEN, Michael BÜSCH

Publication number: 20230364878Abstract: An adjusting system for adjusting the guide play of a sliding guide for movable parts of a press has at least one guide element (1), which comprises at least one sliding block (9), which can be moved transversely to the direction of movement of the part of the press to be guided, at least one adjusting wedge (5) and at least one guide wedge (8), the movement of which adjusting wedge and guide wedge relative to each other causes the sliding block (9) to be shifted perpendicularly to the direction of movement of the movable part. The adjusting system is characterized in that the adjusting wedge (5) is continuously adjustable by means of at least one spindle drive. The disclosure further relates to a method for adjusting the position of at least one sliding block of its sliding guide on a press having such an adjusting system.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2021Publication date: November 16, 2023Applicant: SMS group GmbHInventors: Michael BÜSCH, David HÜSGEN
