Abstract: A method of picking a predetermined number of fasteners is provided. The method includes placing a fastener handling tool adjacent the predetermined number of fasteners. The fastener handling tool includes a body that includes a holding side, a picking side opposite the holding side, a front wall, a rear wall opposite the front wall and opposite side walls that extend between the holding side and the picking side. The body includes an elongated slot on the picking side that extends between the opposite side walls along a width of the body and an elongated hole on the picking side that is offset from the elongated slot. The elongated slot and the elongated hole extend parallel between the opposite sidewalls providing a gap between the elongated slot and the elongated hole. A magnet is located at the elongated hole. The predetermined number of fasteners are attracted to an edge of the elongated slot using the magnet located at the elongated hole.

  • Publication number: 20250049169
Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to, among other things, a knitted upper for an article of footwear. The knitted upper includes different knit zones including a first knit zone which may be located in a toe and forefoot region of the article of footwear. The first knit zone includes a first knit layer forming an outer-facing surface of the knitted upper, a second knit layer forming an inner-facing surface of the knitted upper, and a third thermoformed layer substantially contained between the first knit layer and the second knit layer. The third thermoformed layer acts as a barrier, reducing the likelihood of abrasion forces that may occur from contact between the knitted upper and a ground or other surface from contacting yarns that form the second knit layer, thereby increasing the structural integrity of the knitted upper.

  • Publication number: 20250051649
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a processes and systems for producing fuels from biomass with high carbon conversion efficiency. The processes and systems described herein provide a highly efficient process for producing hydrocarbons from biomass with very low Green House Gas (GHG) emissions using a specific combination of components, process flows, and recycle streams. The processes and systems described herein provide a carbon conversion efficiency greater than 95% with little to no GHG in the flue gas due to the novel arrangement of components and utilizes renewable energy to provide energy to some components. The system reuses water and carbon dioxide produced in the process flows and recycles naphtha and tail gas streams to other units in the system for additional conversion to syngas to produce hydrocarbon-based fuels.

  • Publication number: 20250053869
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for generating insights from words and phrases mapped in high-dimensional space. The method includes obtaining a plurality of communications. The plurality of communications comprise a plurality of words and phrases. Further, the method includes obtaining a model configured through training to cluster word representations of the plurality of communications. The method also includes applying a constraint to at least a group of the plurality of communications to obtain at least one modified group. The constraint is at least one of a keyword, a phrase, or groupings of words in phrases. Once the modified group is determined, the method proceeds to representing the at least one modified group into word representations then determining a category for the at least one modified group.

  • Publication number: 20250049640
Abstract: A medication container can include a frame, a drawer including slots, at least one of a first set of one or more sensors and a second set of one or more sensors, and an electronic transmitter. The slots in the drawer can receive cartridges containing medication. The first set of sensor(s) can detect whether the drawer has moved more than a preset distance into or out of the frame. The second set of sensor(s) can detect whether a cartridge has been removed from a corresponding slot and/or the contents of the cartridge. The electronic transmitter can transmit data characterizing at least one of whether the drawer has moved more than the preset distance into or out of the frame and whether the cartridge has been removed from the corresponding slot to a server computer via a communication network. Other medication containers and systems for generating alerts are described.

  • Publication number: 20250055403
Abstract: Rotor flux control in a permanent magnet (PM) electric machine involves controlling fluid flow through the rotor based on the torque versus speed operating point of the PM machine. When the torque at a given speed falls below a predetermined threshold, the rotor receives a reduced fluid flow compared to when the torque is above the threshold. Fluid flow through the stator is controlled in an inverse manner relative to the rotor's fluid flow such that when the rotor experiences reduced fluid flow, the stator receives an increased fluid flow. This approach enables efficient control of the rotor's magnetic flux, enhancing the performance and efficiency of the PM electric machine during various operating conditions.
