Abstract: Methods of and apparatuses for laterally etching semiconductor substrates using an atomic layer etch process involving exposing an oxidized surface of a semiconductor substrate to a fluorine-containing etch gas and heating the substrate to remove non-volatile etch byproducts by a sublimation mechanism are provided herein. Methods also including additionally pulsing a hydrogen-containing gas when pulsing the fluorine-containing etch gas. Apparatuses also include an ammonia mixing manifold suitable for separately preparing and mixing ammonia for use in various tools.

Abstract: A method and system to provide multi-layered access control for healthcare datasets are disclosed. The method comprises defining an information policy for each of healthcare datasets, wherein the information policy comprises information access permissions. Further, an organization policy is defined for each of the healthcare datasets, wherein the organization policy comprises license permissions for organizations accessing the healthcare datasets. Thereafter, a user account master policy is defined for each of the healthcare datasets, wherein the user account master policy comprises account permissions assigned to users of the organizations. Subsequently, a master user policy is generated for each of the users based on the information policy, the organization policy, the user account master policy, or a combination thereof, wherein the master user policy comprises access control permissions to provide each of the users access to the healthcare datasets.

Abstract: An apparatus for securing the tail end of a spirally wound roll of nonwoven, polymer-based material to the roll to preclude unintended unwinding of the roll, the apparatus comprising a winding assembly for forming about a winding axis a spirally wound roll with a tail end, a fixture for a roll tacking assembly with an ultrasonic tool oscillating on an oscillating axis, and a fixture for moving the tool into momentary tangential contact with an outermost winding layer of the roll in a manner that orients the oscillating axis orthogonally to the winding axis. The apparatus implements a method of locating the tail end of the spirally wound roll and orienting the tail end in relation to the securing tool.

In some examples, a system according to this disclosure may receive at least a first item including a first tree structure and a second item including a second tree structure. The system may compare the first item and the second item. In particular, in performing the comparison, the system may detect a sub-tree structure type in the first tree structure and in the second tree structure. In some examples, the sub-tree structure type is one of one or more sub-tree structure types that have corresponding matching processes. Once determined, the system described herein may perform the corresponding matching process of the detected sub-tree structure type for the first tree structure and the second tree structure.
