Abstract: Presented is an apparatus and a means to more broadly apply a projected fluid to a surface by the passing of the fluid through a convergent diffuser. The use of a convergent diffuser runs counter to the present state of the art which suggests the use of a divergently configured diffuser. A preferred embodiment teaches a construction of the diffuser employing mesh configurations in various shapes. Another embodiment envisions a diffuser configured of a coil of material formed in a donut shape through which a fluid passes and is dispersed.

Abstract: Scanning systems and related methods are provided. The scanning systems and methods may be computed tomography (CT) based scanning systems and methods. According to some aspects, the scanning systems have a reduced size compared to conventional scanning systems and may have similar throughput to some conventional scanning systems. According to some aspects, the scanning systems are reconfigurable into at least two scanning arrangements. Reduced size and/or reconfigurable scanning systems can allow an operator to dispose a scanning system in an environment that would not accommodate a conventional scanning system. Accordingly, the scanning systems described herein can provide enhanced security in some environments.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed relating to proximity detection of devices and targeted information services, such as information campaigns. Disclosed methods provide targeted campaigns to a user, such as targeted campaigns to presentation devices based on proximity of user devices near the information devices. Other methods provide targeted campaigns across various applications, while other methods provide for scheduling campaigns to premises device identifiers based on an event schedule, and other methods provide a hierarchal system for monitoring different sets of premises device identifiers when a user device can monitor for a limited number of premises device identifiers at a time.

When a prioritized end device attempts to establish a call session, the call handling device may initially determine if a first call session identifier is available. If so, the call session can be established using that first identifier. If the first identifier is in use for a call session of another end device, the call handling device may either use a different call session identifier for the prioritized end device session or may drop a pre-existing call session to free an identifier for use in connection with the prioritized end device.

The gateway may further include Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) proxy servers for communicating with a second subset of the endpoints. Incoming communications to the premises may be routed by the gateway to one or more of the endpoints via the local physical interfaces or the SIP proxy servers. One or more endpoints may initiate outgoing communications via the local physical interfaces or the SIP proxy servers.
