A fling request may take priority over caching, and the fling request may interrupt any caching processes.

Abstract: An accumulator includes an accumulator housing defining a first end, a second end opposite to the first end, and a hollow chamber. The accumulator also includes a piston slidably disposed within the hollow chamber and adapted to displace between the first and second ends. The piston divides the hollow chamber into a gaseous chamber proximate to the first end of the accumulator housing and a hydraulic chamber proximate to the second end of the accumulator housing. Further, the piston defines a first side surface in communication with the gaseous chamber and a second side surface spaced apart from the first side surface. The second side surface is in communication with the hydraulic chamber. A cavity of the piston is in communication with the second side surface and extends from the second side surface towards the first side surface. The cavity is in fluid communication with the hydraulic chamber.

Other methods provide targeted campaigns across various applications, while other methods provide for scheduling campaigns to premises device identifiers based on an event schedule, and other methods provide a hierarchal system for monitoring different sets of premises device identifiers when a user device can monitor for a limited number of premises device identifiers at a time.

A plurality of user devices may be caused to output indicators of the incoming messages, and at least one of the user devices may also provide an acknowledgement of the notification, and the indicators may be cleared.

Abstract: Scanning systems and related methods are provided. The scanning systems and methods may be computed tomography (CT) based scanning systems and methods. According to some aspects, the scanning systems have a reduced size compared to conventional scanning systems and may have similar throughput to some conventional scanning systems. According to some aspects, the scanning systems are reconfigurable into at least two scanning arrangements. Reduced size and/or reconfigurable scanning systems can allow an operator to dispose a scanning system in an environment that would not accommodate a conventional scanning system. Accordingly, the scanning systems described herein can provide enhanced security in some environments.

Abstract: A scanning system includes an improved arrangement of shielding curtains to limit radiation leakage while achieving high throughput and limiting system length. The scanning system includes a segmented conveyor, including a faster conveyor through a shielding region to improve increase throughput of scanned articles, and a slower conveyor through a scanning region to ensure acceptable scanning performance. The curtains are arranged based on the changing gap distance between the articles that results from the changing conveyor speeds.
