  • Patent number: 12632676
Abstract: Described are systems and methods that guide an LLM in determining when to initiate a request to a user for clarification and when to cause execution of a determined directive based on an utterance. At each pass through the LLM it may be determined whether the probability score and/or confidence score of a determined token exceeds respective thresholds. Based on those determinations, the system may decide whether to proceed with the determined tokens or to request clarification.

  • Patent number: 12592096
Abstract: Cameras installed at a facility capture images over periods of time and detect features such as locations of hands, heads or other body parts within the images. Time series of data regarding such features are provided to machine learning systems to determine whether an event such as a taking or a return of the item is depicted within the images, or whether no such event is detected. The time series are provided to the machine learning system in an iterative manner, with time series associated with a set of baseline features provided to the machine learning system first. If an event is not detected and associated with an actor based on the baseline features, time series associated with supplemental features are successively provided to the machine learning system, along with the time series associated with the baseline features, until the event is detected and associated with an actor.

  • Patent number: 12511497
Abstract: Systems and methods for embedding-based LLM tuning include generating a first embedding of received user input data and utilizing a translation model trained to associate user input with device names to generate a second embedding that differs at least in part from the first embedding. Reference embeddings corresponding to devices associated with user account data may be generated and a subset of the reference embeddings that satisfy a threshold similarity to the second embedding may be determined. A large language model (LLM) configured to determine a response to the user input data may utilize data for a subset of devices that correspond to the subset of the reference embeddings for performing speech processing.

  • Publication number: 20250148198
Abstract: A computing system receives a request to generate one or more narrative frameworks for a worksheet. The worksheet is hosted by a third party server. The computing system interfaces with the third party server to retrieve data associated with the worksheet. The computing system infers attributes of the worksheet from the retrieved data. The attributes correspond to a type of data represented in the worksheet. The computing system generates a narrative template for the one or more narrative frameworks. The computing system generates one or more data variables for the one or more narrative frameworks based on the generated narrative template. The computing system constructs the one or more narrative frameworks by selectively retrieving data from the worksheet for each data variable of the one or more data variables in the narrative framework.

  • Patent number: 12081818
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing protected content to subscribers of a managed (e.g., MSO) network via a content source accessible via an internetwork such as the Internet. In one embodiment, a user accesses a programmer website website, and requests content. The programmer determines whether the requesting user is permitted to access the content, and what rights or restrictions are associated with the user. This includes authenticating the user as a subscriber of the MSO, and determining the subscriber's subscription level. In another embodiment, a user's account with the MSO and programmer may be federated, thus a given user will have MSO-specific information regarding its identity (such as login information, GUID, etc.) and/or information regarding subscription level and service details, stored at the programmer. Messages received from the MSO representing permission for the user to access content may also be stored at the programmer site for later reference.

  • Patent number: 11880779
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems and techniques for detecting events, determining a result of each respective event using a first hypothesis source, and calculating a likelihood that a second (and/or additional) hypothesis source would determine the same result of the respective event. The calculated likelihood may then be used to be determine whether to request that the second hypothesis source determine the result of the event, determine an amount of resources of the second hypothesis source to use to make this determination, and/or like.

  • Patent number: 11868956
Abstract: Systems and techniques for detecting events involving a user that occurred during a session in a facility, and performing a holistic, session-based analysis of the events to determine items taken by the user from the facility. An inventory management system may initially analyze the events to determine a hypothesis for a result of each respective event and a probability that the hypotheses are accurate. An initial listing of the items determined to be taken by the user may be generated along with probabilities that the items were taken. Upon determining that a probability an item was taken is lower than a threshold, the management system may select an algorithm to process an event in the session that is likely to resolve uncertainty in the initial listing. The management system may iteratively process events until a final listing represents the items taken by the user with an allowable probability.

  • Patent number: 11831955
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing protected content to subscribers of a managed (e.g., MSO) network via a content source accessible via an internetwork such as the Internet. In one embodiment, a user accesses a service provider portal (e.g., website), and requests content. The service provider determines whether the requesting user is permitted to access the content, and what rights or restrictions are associated with the user. This includes authenticating the user as a subscriber of the MSO, and determining the subscriber's subscription level. In another embodiment, a user's account with the MSO and service provider may be federated, thus a given user will have MSO-specific information regarding its identity (such as login information, GUID, etc.) and is able to perform a single sign on to request and receive content.

  • Publication number: 20220284311
Abstract: A computing system receives event data that includes play-by-play information for an event. The computing system accesses a database that includes a knowledge graph related to the event. The knowledge graph includes a plurality of nodes and a plurality of edges. Each node of the plurality of nodes represents a player or a team involved in the event. The plurality of edges connects nodes of the plurality of nodes. The computing system updates the knowledge graph based on the play-by-play information. The computing system generates, via a first machine learning model, one or more insights based on the updated knowledge graph. The computing system scores, via a second machine learning model, a score for each of the one or more insights. The computing system presents a highest ranking insight of the one or more insights to one or more end users.
