  • Patent number: 7339782
Abstract: A console (10) includes a housing (14), as well as an upper display module (94) and a lower display module (38). A simple pivotal connection exists between the upper display module (94) and the housing (14) to allow it to move between its closed and open positions. A pair of upper linkages (54) and a pair of lower linkages (66) pivotally interconnect the lower display module (38) with the housing (14) to allow it to move between its closed and open positions. Moving the display modules (38, 94) to their open positions provides access to the interior (22) of the housing (14) and electronics (26) contained therein.

  • Patent number: 7124896
Abstract: An equipment tray of sheet metal having a base with a bottom section and a set of four sides integral to the bottom section with each of the four sides extending outward from the base to form a compartment therein and at least one of the sides having a beveled lip extending along a first portion of the side to provide stiffness to the base to avoid the “oil can effect” occurring with sheet metal trays. A further feature of the inventions is the inclusion of a cover retaining slot formed in the base by having a second portion of a side configured to coact with a beveled edge to form a cover retaining slot between the second portion of the side and the beveled edge to prevent lateral movement of the cover.

  • Patent number: 6715739
Abstract: An evaporative humidifier including a base removably supporting a water tray for holding a quantity of water. A blower assembly and a water tank are removably supported by the base above the water tray. The blower assembly includes a housing and a fan disposed intermediate a pair of air inlets and an air exhaust outlet. A cylindrically shaped wick filter is supported by the water tray and extends upwardly into the housing. The wick filter includes a cylindrical side wall and opposing open upper and lower ends. The fan is driven by a motor mounted inside the housing for drawing air into the housing through the air inlets, through the cylindrical side walls of the wick filter, and then through the open upper end of the wick filter and out of the housing through the air exhaust outlet.
