  • Publication number: 20230038040
Abstract: Techniques and devices are disclosed for fabrication workstation and assembly layout device. The fabrication workstation includes a table with a work surface. The work surface being a continuous surface and configured to support a plurality of components for fabrication of an assembly, such as an assembly of metal components. The device further includes a beam located above the work surface. The beam is operatively coupled to the table, such that the beam moves relative to the work surface in a first direction. A marking device on the beam is configured to move along the beam in a second direction different from the first direction. The marking device is further configured to mark the work surface in the shape of an assembly pattern. Assembly components are positioned on the assembly pattern to be assembled.

  • Publication number: 20230023107
Abstract: A restraint apparatus for securing a mobility device in a vehicle includes a base configured to being mounted to a floor of the vehicle, a support coupled to the base and extending upward therefrom, and a backing plate adjustably coupled to the support. The backing plate defines a channel to provide vertical adjustment of the backing plate with respect to the support. An upper support is pivotally coupled to the backing plate, and a claw assembly is coupled to the upper support. The claw assembly includes a claw member and a latching member, where the latching member is pivotally coupled to the claw member to enable pivotal movement between an unlatched position and a latched position. A control system operably controls the pivotal movement of the latching member between its latched position to its unlatched positions. In the unlatched position, the claw assembly provides an opening for receiving the device.

  • Publication number: 20230000626
Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve can include an outer support assembly, an inner valve assembly, which define between them an annular space, and a pocket closure that bounds the annular space to form a pocket in which thrombus can be formed and retained. Alternatively, or additionally, the outer support assembly and the inner valve assembly can be coupled at the ventricle ends of the outer support assembly and the inner valve assembly, with the outer support assembly being relatively more compliant in hoop compression in a central, annulus portion than at the ventricle end, so that the prosthetic valve can seat securely in the annulus while imposing minimal loads on the inner valve assembly that could degrade the performance of the valve leaflets.

The tubular piston includes a stepped outer portion and divides the annular cylinder chamber into a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber. The second pressure chamber is closed by an annular end cap secured to the tubular body. The first pressure chamber is connectable to a pressure source for hydraulic fluid. The second pressure chamber is connectable to a pressure source for a compressible medium via a conduit connector mounted on the annular end cap. The conduit connector extends radially in relation to a geometric axis (A-A) of the tubular body. • Patent number: 11448653
Abstract: Cell sorting methods that improve sorting efficiency and productivity by elevating sorting pressures and incorporate certain steps to help the cells better survive such elevated pressures. In the case of sperm, sorting the steps of standardizing sperm samples, staining sperm samples in a single step, calibrating a flow cytometer to place sperm in the leading edge of droplets, and changing a catch fluid distance may be incorporated individually, or in combination to help sperm better survive the sex sorting process.
