  • Patent number: 10825978
Abstract: A new heat treatment for Internal-Tin Nb3Sn strands is described. The heat treatment uses Nausite membranes to decrease the volume fraction of the ? phase and therefore minimize its liquefaction—ultimately resulting in better connected Nb3Sn. The heat treatment requires only one stage aside from the final Nb3Sn reaction stage. This heat treatment enables an increase in critical current density (at 16 T) of 28%.

  • Patent number: 10776875
Abstract: A system for managing trading orders comprises a memory operable to store a first order associated with a particular trading product, wherein the first order is associated with a first price comprising a first root value. The system further comprises a processor communicatively coupled to the memory and operable to receive a second order associated with the particular trading product. The second order is associated with a second price; and the second price comprises a second root value and a particular fractional pip value. The processor is further operable to disclose the first root value and the second root value while suppressing the particular fractional pip value.

  • Publication number: 20200277212
Abstract: A system for recovering fat, oil and grease and removing biochemical oxygen demand and total suspended solids from brown grease or trap grease. In some cases, the system includes an integrated inlet coarse screen, primary circular zoned dissolved air and ozone flotation unit, bio-dissolved air and flotation unit, and three-phase centrifuge.

  • Publication number: 20200239330
Abstract: A system for recovering fat, oil and grease (FOG) from wastewater has multiple annular flotation zones in a concentric configuration surrounding a central column to create progressively increasing surface areas for FOG and solid particles flotation. Each flotation zone may be equipped with an independent pressurized micro air and/or ozone bubbles distribution system. The FOG is recovered in the first flotation zone without chemical additions. Coagulant and flocculant may be added in the second flotation zone to maximize removals of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids (TSS), and colloidal particulates and produce clear effluent. Magnesium chloride is added in the third flotation zone to remove phosphorus and to form struvite particulates that can be used as fertilizer. Since both organic loading and solid loading in the treated effluent are significantly reduced, poultry processing plants can more easily meet wastewater treatment plant discharge limits and avoid surcharges.

  • Publication number: 20200223729
Abstract: A system for effectively removing biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids (TSS), ammonia, total nitrogen (TN), and total phosphorus (TP) from wastewater has integrated multiple physiochemical and biological treatment processes into one unit. This system includes a primary DAF unit, anoxic bio-media treatment zone, and a secondary DAF unit. The bio-media treatment zones may be used to remove BOD and TN and may be divided into a number of functional zones. Each functional zone can develop and accumulate optimized bacteria species and microorganisms based on incoming wastewater BOD and nutrient levels.

  • Publication number: 20200131051
Abstract: A system for recovering fat, oil and grease (FOG) from wastewater has multiple annular flotation zones in a concentric configuration surrounding a central column to create progressively increasing surface areas for FOG and solid particles flotation, and thereby enhance FOG recovery and removal. Each flotation zone is equipped with an independent pressurized micro air and ozone bubbles distribution system. A controlled amount of ozone can be injected into the wastewater along with recirculated effluent and micro-size air bubbles. Upon the release of pressurized air-ozone-water mixture, micro-size bubbles are generated and distributed in each flotation zone to effectively float up FOG and solid particles in the wastewater stream.

  • Publication number: 20200134979
Abstract: A method and apparatus for keno game play in which the player plays eight keno cards at once on a round of play. Unlike in Four Card keno, this Eight Card keno method of play allows the player considerably more flexibility to play combinations of selected keno numbers. Unlike in Twenty Card keno, this Eight Card keno method of play allows the player a reasonable amount of flexibility to play combinations of selected keno numbers without requiring a major investment in the amount of the wager.

  • Publication number: 20200134967
Abstract: A method and apparatus for keno game play in which the player plays four keno cards at once on a round of play and two different pay tables are provided. One pay table is a bonus pay table which has high payouts when the player achieves a high number of matches. In order to make this bonus pay table active, the player must make an additional wager beyond the amount of the regular wager needed to play the keno game. This pay table is indicated by a display that shows the Bonus Bet On. The other pay table has conventional payouts when no additional wager is made and is indicated by a display that shows Bonus Bet Off.
