    Abstract: An Ising machine system comprises a plurality of capacitors, a plurality of resistors having first and second terminals, wherein each capacitor is electrically connected to the first or second terminal of at least one resistor of the plurality of resistors via each of its positive and negative terminals, a power supply having positive and negative rails, a switching network configured to initialize each of the plurality of capacitors with a positive or negative voltage from the power supply, then disconnect all of the plurality of capacitors from the power supply, allowing the capacitor voltages to float, and at least one voltage measuring device configured to measure a voltage across the positive and negative terminals of a capacitor of the plurality of capacitors. A method of running an Ising machine system is also disclosed.
