  • Publication number: 20230186107
Abstract: A system and method can be provided for constructing and training a decision tree for machine learning. A training set can be received. The decision tree can be initialized by constructing a root node and a root solver can be trained with the training set. A processor can grow the decision tree by iteratively splitting nodes of the decision tree, where at a node of the decision tree, dimension reduction is performed on features of data of the training set received at the node, and the data having reduced dimension is split based on a routing function, for routing to another node of the decision tree. The dimension reduction and the split can be performed together at the node based on solving a nonlinear optimization problem.

  • Publication number: 20230152330
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to compositions and methods for diagnosing and treating idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Also, methods for identifying IPF disease severity and likelihood for disease progression. An IPF patient can be identified when the CSF1 concentration or soluble CSF1R concentration in a blood sample is decreased as compared to a reference blood sample from a reference human subject not having IPF, and/or when the soluble CSF1R concentration in a bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid sample is increased as compared to a reference BAL fluid sample from the reference human subject. Once identified, the patient can be treated with, for instance, CSF1 or CSF1R inhibitors, such as antibodies. Moreover, the IPF patient soluble CSF1R level in blood or BAL samples can also be used to assess the severity of disease, and to both monitor disease progression and treatment outcomes.

  • Publication number: 20230140562
Abstract: A tool includes an elongated shaft and a socket positioning assembly disposed on the shaft. A rear end portion of the shaft is configured to be mounted for rotation by a hand tool or a power tool. The shaft is configured to support a first socket and a second socket. Each socket is selectively positionable on the shaft in either a use configuration or in a storage configuration. The socket positioning assembly includes a socket support member configured to support the first socket in its use configuration proximate the front end portion of the shaft, and a socket retainer configured to retain at least the second socket in its storage configuration on the shaft. The storage configuration is between the socket retainer and the rear end portion of the shaft. The socket retainer is positioned between the first socket and the second socket.

  • Publication number: 20230079388
Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking inventory items in an area of real space are disclosed. The method includes receiving a signal generated in dependence on sensors. The signal indicates a change to a portion of an image of an area of real space. The method includes, in response to receiving the signal, implementing a trained location detection model to determine, based on inputs, whether an inventory item identified in the portion of the image has changed a position in the area of real space. The method includes implementing a trained item classification model to determine a classification of the inventory item. The method includes updating an inventory database with inventory item data determined in dependence on the classification of the inventory item to provide an updated map of the area of real space as a result of the received signal indicating the change to the portion of the image.

  • Publication number: 20230079018
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting a size of an inventory item in an area of real space are disclosed. The method includes receiving respective sequences of images of corresponding fields of view in the area of real space from a plurality of sensors. The method includes determining a two-dimensional plane in the area of real space by matching at least three points on a first image obtained by a first sensor and a second image obtained by a second sensor. The method includes selecting an inventory item, from the first image, for which a size is to be determined. The method includes warping the first image onto the two-dimensional plane. The method includes cropping out the selected inventory item from the warped image. The method includes, inputting, the cropped out image of the inventory item and another image of an inventory item to a trained size determination model.

  • Publication number: 20230065193
Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for intra-articular delivery of anti-CSF1R antibodies to a tissue that is impacted by a disease that is treatable with CSF1/CSF1R inhibition and/or that expresses CSF1R. It was conventional knowledge that the intra-articular dwell time of proteins in joints is typically a few hours or less. The present disclosure shows, however, that intra-articular delivery of an anti-CSF1R antibody can lead to sustained exposure and pharmacologic activity of the antibody in the joints far beyond a few hours, providing an effective means for targeted and extended delivery of the therapeutic agent.

  • Patent number: 11190195
Abstract: A physics package for an atomic clock is provided herein. The atomic clock may include a resonance cell storing alkali vapor having first and second hyperfine ground states and an excited state, a light source to transmit light through the resonance cell at a frequency corresponding to electronic decay from the excited state to the first ground state, and a photodetector to receive light from the light source. The physics package may include a laser, and controller circuitry to, at a first time, allow light from the laser to optically pump the alkali vapor from the first hyperfine ground state to the excited state; and at a second time, allow the photodetector to receive light source light from the resonance cell while inhibiting light from the laser from optically pumping the alkali vapor in the resonance cell.
