  • Publication number: 20170224274
Abstract: Methods for combining anatomical data and physiological data on a single image are provided. The methods include obtaining an image, for example, a raw near-infrared (NIR) image or a visible image, of a sample. The image of the sample includes anatomical structure of the sample. A physiologic map of blood flow and perfusion of the sample is obtained. The anatomical structure of the image and the physiologic map of the sample are combined into a single image of the sample. The single image of the sample displays anatomy and physiology of the sample in the single image in real time. Related systems and computer program products are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20170206773
Abstract: Techniques for facilitating one or more operating modes for monitoring of an intelligent home system are disclosed. The techniques facilitate detecting an adverse condition in a building, generating an alert based on the detection, sending a notification about the alert to a user (e.g., to a mobile device), awaiting a user response, and determining whether to send the alert to a central monitoring system to facilitate notification of an appropriate responder for the adverse condition. Determining whether to send the alert to the central monitoring system may be based on an affirmative command from the user or a failure to receive any command from the user. The user may be billed for the service of notifying an appropriate responder provided by central monitoring system regularly, intermittently when the user is away from the building, or on a per-alert basis.

  • Patent number: 9706367
Abstract: A system and method of providing information about a transport service to user devices are described. The system arranges a transport service for a first user and a second user. The system determines first data corresponding to a first route from a location of a driver device of the driver to a first pickup location of the first user and second data corresponding to a second route from the first pickup location to a second pickup location of the second user. A combined route is determined based on the first data and the second data. The system transmits data associated with the first data without transmitting the data corresponding to the combined route to a first user device of the first user, and transmits data corresponding to the combined route to a second user device of the second user.

  • Publication number: 20170112459
Abstract: An embodiment in accordance with the present invention includes a novel informatics method for the integration of different variables or ontologies using an advanced unsupervised machine learning method which will be used to visualize factors not visible to the human observer. These factors can be unknown characteristics between imaging datasets and other factors which will provide insights into the structure of the data. This invention is called the Informatics Radiomics Integration System (IRIS), For example, using clinical data and radiological images, the present invention can determine the relationship between, the structure, clinical variables, histological variables and “distance or relationship” between each input parameter. This integration of information can be used to determine the association between the variables and the relationship to each other for improved diagnosis or for treatment response.

  • Publication number: 20170076393
Abstract: An inventory technology that works with computers, smartphones and devices that assists in creating a personal property inventory for insurance purposes wills, probate, taxes and or other needs. An inventory may be prepared before an insurance loss occurs by use of photos, videos, user input and vender supplied receipts. A user may link gift store registries with the technology for updating and or ordering replacement personal property after a loss. For users without a list after disaster strikes, fire, burglary etc., the technology has an “after tool” to help users re-construct personal property inventory. The Memory Assist module provides suggestions based on typical homeowner and knowledge base data and illustrated on a room by room basis. The professional model combines both the before and after tools in one, along with depreciation tables and allowing for exchanging communications and documentation between the user and the claims processor.

  • Patent number: 9573085
Abstract: An oil sump, preferably made of plastic or metal, for motors or transmissions and having a filter housing, comprises a filter housing top shell, a filter housing bottom shell, a filter medium, a filter inlet, and a filter outlet, and an oil drain opening in the floor area of the oil sump, which is implemented in such a way that it is closable using an oil drain screw having external thread, which comes from the oil sump bottom side. The filter housing comprises an internal thread which is implemented to receive the external thread of the oil drain screw, the filter housing being at least partially fastened on the oil sump via the oil drain screw, which closes the oil drain opening and engages using its external thread in the internal thread on the filter housing side.

  • Publication number: 20160270672
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present inventive concept provide a system that uses two wavelengths of differential transmittance through a sample to apply laser speckle or laser Doppler imaging. A first of the two wavelengths is within the visible range that has zero or very shallow penetration. This wavelength captures the anatomical structure of tissue/organ surface and serves as a position marker of the sample but not the subsurface movement of blood flow and perfusion. A second wavelength is in the near Infra-Red (NIR) range, which has much deeper penetration. This wavelength reveals the underlying blood flow physiology and correlates both to the motion of the sample and also the movement of blood flow and perfusion. Thus, true motion of blood flow and perfusion can be derived from the NIR imaging measurement without being affected by the motion artifact of the target.

  • Patent number: 9449495
Abstract: A crash detection system is disclosed that utilizes a mobile computing device to detect a vehicular accident via one or more sensors integrated into the mobile computing device. The system monitors the sensor metrics measured by one or more sensors and generates an event sensor profile that may include the plurality of sensor metrics and additional status data, such as an indication of whether the mobile computing device was located within a vehicle when the event occurred. By comparing the plurality of sensor metrics to other crash sensor metrics, a determination may be made whether the event requires emergency assistance, which may be confirmed by determining whether the data included in the event sensor profile meets one or more exception conditions. If the event requires emergency assistance and an exception condition is not met, the mobile computing device may place a call to the appropriate emergency response personnel.

  • Patent number: 9390525
Abstract: The following graphical representations, of frame instance data, are presented: Instance Graph and Instance Plot. An Instance Graph is a kind of directed graph that represents directed relationships between items, as established by frame instances. An example frame is the Preference Frame, as applied to online opinion data. The degree or “influence” of a node can be graphically indicated. Multiple edges, between two nodes, can be represented as a compound edge. Each node can be modeled as having a field, causing it to repel all other nodes, which each edge can be modeled as producing an attractive force. The “net preference” of a node is the difference between its outdegree and indegree. From the “influence” and “net preference” values, for nodes of an Instance Graph, an Instance Plot can be produced. One axis of an instance plot is based on “influence” and another axis is based on “net preference.
