  • Publication number: 20250183604
Abstract: A flexible bus bar system for connecting printed circuit boards (PCBs), especially suited for high-power applications. The bus bar is constructed from multiple stacked thin sheets of conductive material, imparting flexibility and reducing mechanical stress on connected PCBs in applications prone to shock and/or vibration, such as electric vehicle power systems. The sheets may be laser-cut, optionally enabling formation of intricate geometries and/or integrated direct mounting apertures, potentially eliminating the need for additional connectors or crimps. One or more radiused curves are introduced into a central portion of the bus bar, holding the layers in alignment and providing flexibility and/or elasticity. The assembly may be reinforced with an adhesive-backed heat shrink. Methods of fabrication are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20250142779
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cooling plate for thermal management of a system such as an electronic. A unitary, single-material cooling plate can be formed from three stacked flat aluminum sheets, including a top sheet, a bottom sheet, and a middle sheet. An open channel is formed in the middle sheet by laser cutting, and enclosed by the top and bottom sheets. The top and bottom sheets are secured to the middle sheet through continuous laser welds applied around the circumference of the open channel and laser welding applied around the outer perimeter of the cooling plate. Flow modifiers or sensor assemblies may be encapsulated within the middle sheet open channel. The open channel may, in some embodiments, constitute a single open coolant chamber, with islands of material positioned therein and welded to the top and bottom sheets. Methods for manufacture of such cooling plates are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12230256
Abstract: An interactive voice response (IVR) system including iterative speech recognition with semantic interpretation is deployed to process an audio input in a manner that optimizes and conserves computing resources and facilitates low-latency discovery of start-of-speech events that can be used to support external processes such as barge-in operations. The IVR system can repeatedly receive an audio input at a speech processing component and apply an input-aware recognition process to the audio input. In response to generating a start-of-speech event, the IVR system can apply an input-unaware recognition process to the remaining audio input and determine a semantic meaning in relation to the relevant portion of the audio input.

  • Patent number: 11917361
Abstract: A method and system of improving frequency responses at lower frequencies from a loudspeaker includes simultaneously tuning a transmission line and a tuned port in the same system. The transmission line and the tuned ports are tuned to innate characteristics of the physical and electrical components within the loudspeaker. In one embodiment, an improved frequency response of a loudspeaker is achieved by tuning the transmission line to the frequency of the maximum excursion point of the loudspeakers. In another embodiment the transmission line is tuned to the resonance frequency of the loudspeaker having the tuned port.

  • Publication number: 20240055018
Abstract: An interactive voice response (IVR) system including iterative speech recognition with semantic interpretation is deployed to determine when a user is finished speaking, thus saving them time and frustration. The IVR system can repeatedly receive an audio input representing a portion of human speech, transcribe the speech into text, and determine a semantic meaning of the text. If the semantic meaning corresponds to a valid input or response to the IVR system, then the IVR system can determine that the user input is complete and respond to the user after the user is silent for a predetermined time period. If the semantic meaning does not correspond to a valid input to the IVR system, the IVR system can determine that the user input is not complete and can wait for a second predetermined time period before determining that the user has finished speaking.
