Patent number: 8202079Abstract: The method and device are for blow-molding containers. A blank is molded in a blowing mold by means of a blowing pressure after a thermal treatment. The blanks are positioned along a part of the transport path thereof by means of a support element (42) held by a rotating transfer wheel (41). The support element is movably mounted relative to the transfer wheel. The support element is positioned by means of a cam controller (50). The cam controller comprises a positionable cam segment (56) which preselectably places the support element in a working or a resting position. In the working position the support elements are brought into a transfer region and in the resting position are held away from said transfer region.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 2008Date of Patent: June 19, 2012Assignee: KHS Corporation GmbH & Co. Publication number: 20120118254Abstract: A portable work apparatus has a combustion engine for driving a work tool. An air/fuel mixture is supplied to the engine via a carburetor which is provided with an electrical heating element for heating to a given temperature. The heating element is connected to a switch via which electrical energy, which is provided by a generator driven by the engine, is supplied. When a given temperature is exceeded, the switch interrupts the energy supply. To achieve an exact temperature control, the ohmic resistance value of the heating element is stored in a memory in dependence on the temperature. The current flowing through the heating element and the voltage drop at the heating element are measured and the instantaneous resistance of the heating element is calculated therefrom. This calculated value is compared to the value stored in the memory to open or close the switch in dependence on the comparison.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 17, 2011Publication date: May 17, 2012Inventors: Heinrich Leufen, Jörg Präger, David Fallscheer, Rolf Walter, Michael Link

Patent number: 7887742Abstract: The process and the apparatus serve for the blow moulding of containers (2). A parison (1) composed of a thermoplastic material is first subjected to heat conditioning along a transport path in the region of a heating section (30). The parison is then subjected to a forming process within a blow mould with exposure to blowing pressure to give heat container. The heat conditioning of the parisons is carried out by a plurality of mutually superposed radiant heaters (41). The blow moulding of the container is followed by wall-thickness measurement at at least one level within the height of the container.
