  • Patent number: 7037099
Abstract: The device serves for the blow molding of containers that comprise a thermoplastic material, wherein the device has at least one blowing station with at least one blow mold. The blow mold is formed from at least two blow mold segments that are supported by supports, wherein the blow mold has a base extension. The base extension is arranged in such a way that it is capable of being positioned in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the blow mold, and is supported by a base plate. The base plate connects the base extension to a positioning device. The base plate is additionally connected to the base extension by a profiled coupling section, wherein this profiled coupling section is formed from a coupling element, which is connected to the base plate, along with a counter element that is connected to the base extension. The profiled coupling section is capable of being actuated via a manual lever.

  • Publication number: 20060007024
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for encoding successive data words into respective code words. Each data word is mapped into data segments that are constrained to a first number of bit patterns, which is less than a second number of bit patterns that satisfy a first constraint. The data segments are encoded into intermediate code word segments selected from a first set of the bit patterns that satisfy the first constraint, wherein at least some of the bit patterns in the first set violate a second constraint. The intermediate code word segments are encoded into respective code word segments by encoding the intermediate code word segments that violate the second constraint with code word segments selected from a second, different set of the bit patterns that satisfy the first constraint and the second constraint.

  • Publication number: 20050259860
Abstract: A method for inspecting workpieces includes guiding the workpieces past an inspection camera by a rotating transport wheel and analyzing the data provided by the inspection camera by an evaluation unit. A device for inspecting workpieces includes a rotatable transport wheel for the workpieces as well as an inspection camera connected to an evaluation unit. The workpieces are supported by brackets of the transport wheel which are movably arranged relative to each other such that the workpieces are moved in the area of the inspection camera with a medium speed which is lower than the medium speed of the brackets along the travel path of the brackets.

  • Publication number: 20050233602
Abstract: A connector is provided, having a connector body, a first plurality of contacts, and a second plurality of contacts. The connector body has upper, lower, front, back, left, and right surfaces. The first plurality of contacts are secured to the connector body. Each of the first plurality of contacts has a surface at the back surface of the connector body, the surface of the first contact having a curved portion between planes of the upper and lower surfaces of the connector body. Each one of the second plurality of contacts is secured to the connector body and electrically connected to the first plurality of contacts. Each one of the second plurality of contacts has a surface at the front surface of the connector body, and is depressible against a spring force when making contact with a respective edge finger connector on a board.

  • Publication number: 20050201539
Abstract: A method of providing collect call service includes receiving a request for a collect call from a calling party (18). A selected number to call is received. A call is placed to a receiving party (20). Agreeability of the receiving party (20) to accept the credit card billing for the collect call is determined. The calling party (18) is connected to the receiving party (20) in response to the acceptance.

  • Patent number: 6729868
Abstract: The device is used for blow molding containers of a thermoplastic material and has at least one blow station with at least one blow mold. The blow mold is comprised of at least two blow mold segments held by supports. At least one of the blow mold segments is arranged such that it can slide relative to its support. The support is equipped with at least two guide elements for the movable blow mold segment. The guide element has a hard core that is connected to the blow mold segment. In addition, the core is embedded, at least in part, in an elastomer that is carried by the support. A circumferential seal made of an elastomer is provided in order to make available an area of pressure action in order to support pneumatic positioning of the blow mold segment; this seal has a seal lip that makes area contact with the support when pressure is applied.

  • Patent number: 5411391
Abstract: The device serves to apply a prestress to blow moulding elements mounted in the region of mould carriers. The blow moulding elements am adjacent to each other in the area of a mould seam and in each case regionally enclose an internal space, which is intended for shaping a container manufactured with a blow process. In an elastomer a positioning element is embedded at least regionally and is enclosed at a distance by a peripheral element. At least part of the elastomer is arranged between the peripheral element and the positioning element in order to form an elastic connection.

  • Patent number: 5346386
Abstract: This device is used for the blow moulding of thermoplastic synthetic material, with it having a blow mould consisting of at least two blow-moulding elements. The blow mould is provided with an internal space designed for shaping a produced container. The blow moulding elements are arranged in the region of pivotally seated mould carriers. The mould carriers are guided on a shaft and a locking device is provided in the area of the end of the mould carrier facing away from the shaft. In the region of their extension facing away from the locking device, the mould carriers project beyond the shaft by means of their actuating arms. The actuating arms are rotationally coupled to an adjusting element via coupling levers. The adjusting element is guided essentially in the direction of a center line of the blow mould.
