  • Publication number: 20160224550
Abstract: A method for generating a query for version information on a file stored a database file system that is managed by a database server. When a client on a remote client machine sends a file operation request, the database management system, receives the file operation request and creates a database query for the requested file operation and an additional query for a set of version identifiers that identify the previous versions of the requested file of the requested file operation. The database management system executes the queries and generates a set of version identifiers, where each identifier from the set of version identifiers represents a specific version of the requested file at a particular point in time in the past.

  • Patent number: 9384361
Abstract: A distributed event system for a relational database is disclosed. An event data model operatively describes a target database. For a subject entity in the target database, the event data model declares and defines triggering events and respective corresponding operations. An event engine monitors database queries and events involving the subject entity and determines from the event data model corresponding operations. Execution of the determined corresponding operations is distributed to network-based agents. Agents may be filtered based on skills and/or credentials injected at runtime. Code binaries of the operations are downloaded to the agents for execution.

  • Publication number: 20160140354
Abstract: A method for authenticating file operations on files and folders stored in a database file system where the database file system can authenticate a client-user request based upon the client-user's database credentials. The database file system has the capability of storing file permissions based on database credentials. Once a client requests a certain file operation, the client's operating system first determines whether the client has sufficient privileges to perform the requested file operation. If the client has privileges, the client operating system forwards the file operation request to the database file system. The database file system then authenticates the client, based on his database credentials, to determine whether or not to perform the requested file operation.

  • Patent number: 9329057
Abstract: Presented herein is a magnetic field sensor architecture that uses outputs of a peak detector and threshold detector operating in parallel to detect magnetic anomalies that may be associated with the target being sensed, e.g., a rotational ferromagnetic object such as a toothed gear, and use such detection to prevent sensor malfunction. The sensor includes an edge detection circuit and an error detection circuit. In one embodiment, the edge detection circuit includes circuits to detect edges (or transitions) of the threshold and peak detector output signals and the error detection circuit includes circuits, responsive to the edge detection circuit, to indicate an error when a “missed transition” occurs or a peak-to-peak value of an input signal as detected by the peak detector for a current cycle differs from an expected peak-to-peak value by a predetermined amount.

  • Publication number: 20150372437
Abstract: A terminal crimping machine includes a termination tool having crimp tooling defining a crimping zone that receives the terminal and the wire. The crimp tooling is actuated during a crimp stroke to crimp the terminal to the wire. The terminal crimping machine includes a wire clamp holding the wire near the crimping zone. The wire clamp releases the wire prior to completion of the crimp to allow extrusion of the wire during the crimping process. Optionally, the wire clamp may release the wire prior to bottom dead center of the crimp stroke. The wire clamp may release the wire after the terminal partially retains the wire.

  • Publication number: 20150372581
Abstract: Processes used in the past were hazardous due to the material with which they were constructed, the design, and the location of the flywheel used on the device. In addition, the energy was inefficiently drawn from the flywheel which caused them to be replaced by fuel driven engines which emitted CO/2 and other greenhouse gases. My invention will create kinetic energy with zero greenhouse gases and all safety issues are remedied by high grade materials and new safety specifications. My invention is to turn a flywheel containing more kinetic energy than required by an electrical generator to produce power. The flywheel will be driven by an external energy source and, by overcoming the required kinetic energy of the electrical generator with the kinetic energy of the flywheel spinning at a high R.P.M., it will create kinetic energy.

  • Patent number: 9209586
Abstract: A feed mechanism for a terminal crimping machine includes a feed track and a strip locator. The feed track has a top plate and a side wall. The top plate extends from a front of the feed track to a rear of the feed track. The top plate is configured to receive thereon a terminal strip having a plurality of terminals arranged along a carrier strip. The terminal strip is configured to be moved from the rear to the front towards a crimping zone of the terminal crimping machine. The side wall has a fixed edge above the top plate. The strip locator is coupled to the feed track. The strip locator has a rail movably coupled to a support wall. The support wall is fixed relative to the feed track. The rail is biased against the terminal strip to force the terminal strip against the fixed edge of the side wall.

  • Publication number: 20150336156
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention comprise forming a billet from molten steel and hot rolling the billet to reduce the cross sectional area of the billet. Thereafter, the billet is hot rolled into a lead pass bar having a cross-sectional area comprising a reduced width dimension located adjacent to the center longitudinal axis of the bar. In one embodiment of the invention, the billet can be formed into a lead pass bar having a cross-sectional area in the shape of an hourglass or peanut by feeding the billet through a first set of rolls. After the lead pass bar is formed, it is passed through a second set of rolls in order to form the substantially continuous threaded rebar without longitudinal ribs. The cross-sectional area of the lead pass bar helps to produce a substantially continuous threaded rebar product without longitudinal ribs using standard rebar manufacturing tooling and equipment.
