  • Publication number: 20180178188
Abstract: A box style steam methane reformer has plural sections, with each section having walls forming an interior cavity and open ends that communicate with the interior cavity. Each section has a feedstock supply pipe and a fuel supply pipe located along the top wall, as well as a syngas collection pipe and a flue gas collection duct located outside of the bottom wall. The pipes and ducts have ends that are aligned with each other to allow the sections to be assembled together. Burners are located in the interior cavity and are connected to the fuel supply pipe. Reactor tubes extend through the interior cavity. The bottom ends are supported by the syngas collection pipe and the top ends are spring supported to allow for expansion and contraction. Refractory members are located in the interior cavity and across a slot leading to the flue gas collection dust. The spacing between the refractory members varies to control the flow of flue gas.

  • Publication number: 20180167091
Abstract: Power amplifier circuits can behave in a non-linear manner particularly when operated to produce output signal swings approaching an amplifier saturation region. A pre-distortion signal can be applied to a signal to be transmitted to compensate for such power amplifier non-linearity. In applications where two or more transmitter power amplifiers are used, a beam-former can be configured to modify a digitally pre-distorted transmission signal by applying respective beam-forming weighting factors to the digitally pre-distorted transmission signal to provide input transmission signals for respective ones of the power amplifier circuits. The pre-distortion signal can be established at least in part using one or more of a sensed or estimated representation of a transmitted beam formed by spatially aggregating transmitted outputs from the two or more power amplifier circuits.

Abstract: A method of providing spinal stabilization is provided herein. More specifically, the method includes positioning a plurality of fixation assemblies within a plurality of vertebrae in a trans-lamina orientation wherein each fixation assembly includes a proximal portion configured to securely receive a stabilization element (e.g., a stabilization rod). The proximal portions of the various fixation assemblies can be aligned so as to secure at least one stabilization element in a desired position (e.g., along and above a midline of the patient's spine, adjacent and parallel to the midline). A system for providing spinal stabilization is also provided which utilizes trans-lamina delivery and positioning of fixation assemblies within target vertebrae thereby providing stronger fixation and a significant reduction in associated tissue damage.
