  • Publication number: 20180349999
Abstract: The technology relates to systems and methods for generating a graphical user interface that can visually depict a relationship between a variety of parent orders and their associated child orders. The technology parses a plurality of order data and stores the parsed in a database. When generating the user interface, the system can display the plurality of individual orders in the user interface while showing the associated “parent” orders for each order. The user interface can be modified by selecting at least one or more parent orders in which the associated child orders will be highlighted.

  • Publication number: 20180294567
Abstract: A patch antenna system comprises a patch antenna and preferably two sets of strip-shaped parasitic elements arranged over the radiating edges of the patch antenna. The parasitic elements are spaced away from the patch antenna. Preferably, the material placed between the patch antenna and parasitic elements is selectively deposited to introduce an air gap between the elements and the antenna while also introducing mechanical support for the elements. This selective deposition of material also relaxes the requirements for high radio frequency (RF) performance, thereby reducing cost. One advantage of this solution is that it enables circular polarization to be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20180286198
Abstract: Integrating a direct current (DC) voltage motion sensing alarm with an alternating current (AC) voltage light source is presented herein. A wall switch box can comprise a voltage conversion component that generates a DC voltage from an AC voltage that is higher in magnitude than the DC voltage, a motion sensing component detects a motion of an object using the DC voltage, and a security component that generates, based on the motion using the DC voltage, an alarm signal that has been encoded according to an encryption strength of a communication protocol corresponding to a transmission of the alarm signal from the wall switch box. In one aspect, a communication expansion component can wirelessly transmit, using the DC voltage based on control information specifying the communication protocol, the alarm signal according to the encryption strength. In another aspect, the encryption strength can correspond to at least 2128 combinations.

  • Publication number: 20180263001
Abstract: An improved receiver for use in a data pocket communications is provide, where the process of configuring the gain of the receiver and identifying a preamble in the data packet are made more robust. The improved receiver does not need to rely on the received power level exceeding a trigger threshold to initiate the gain control. Instead the gain control runs while the receiver is waiting for a data packet. The frequency correction process can run concurrently with the gain control process.

  • Publication number: 20180260896
Abstract: An example computer system is configured to access broker order data and executed trade information in a memory, and to correlate the executed trade information and broker order data. The computer system is further configured to generate a view arranged to simultaneously display order spread, trade price for executed trades, and order book depth over a time period, based upon the correlated data. The broker order data represent orders transmitted by an external computer to an electronic exchange to trade in a tradeable instrument. The executed trade information includes information on trades executed by the electronic exchange based on the said orders.

  • Publication number: 20180253014
Abstract: A method of controlling output of a radiation source, the method including: periodically monitoring an output energy of the radiation source; determining a difference between a reference energy signal and the monitored output energy; determining a feedback value; determining a desired output energy of the radiation source for a subsequent time period; and controlling an input parameter of the radiation source in dependence on the determined desired output energy during the subsequent time period. If the magnitude of the determined difference between the monitored output energy of the radiation source and the reference energy signal exceeds a threshold value: the determined difference does not contribute to the feedback value; and the determined difference is spread over the subsequent time period according to a reference energy signal adjustment profile and the reference energy signal adjustment profile is added to the reference energy signal for the subsequent time period.
