  • Patent number: 12343524
Abstract: The present invention provides a single surgical method, procedure and/or system that creates open direct visual and/or physical access to an identified spinal treatment site that comprises both targeted vertebral and spinal levels to be treated, wherein the spinal levels comprise at least one dorsal root ganglion. A spinal treatment procedure may be performed generally in combination with implantation of a neuromodulation system that may comprise placement of electrical lead(s) on the at least one dorsal root ganglion, wherein each lead is in operative connection with a pulse generator that may also be implanted during the surgical method. Electrical stimulation may be generated with the pulse generator through the electrical leads to the at least one dorsal root ganglion during and/or after the closure of the identified spinal treatment site.

  • Publication number: 20230392930
Abstract: Methods and systems provide for predicting and constraining kinematic trajectories of an object within an environment. In one embodiment, the system obtains sensor data from one or more sensor data streams; predicts, via an inertial tracking model, a trajectory of an object in an environment in a continuous fashion using the sensor data; retrieves environmental data consisting of a number of environmental constraints relating to the environment; generating, via a reinforcement learning (RL) agent, a number of corrections to the trajectory of the object based on the environmental constraints within the environmental data; and provides real-time tracking and navigation of the object in the environment based on the continuously predicted trajectory and the corrections to the predicted trajectory.

  • Patent number: 11353343
Abstract: Detection of mechanical coupling slippage in rotary encoder systems is provided where position data samples are obtained from a rotary encoder coupled to rotating element and angular acceleration data is determined based on the position data samples. At least two acceleration peaks are detected in the angular acceleration data, including at least one negative acceleration peak and at least one positive acceleration peak. Slippage occurrence of the mechanical coupling are detected when an interval between a negative acceleration peak and a positive acceleration peak of the at least two acceleration peaks is less than a first time period. If at least a threshold number of slippage occurrences are detected within a second time period, a mechanical coupling error signal is generated.

  • Patent number: 10911795
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for providing an alert when an interesting segment is imminent during the delivery of a digital content such as, for example, the beginning of a play during a football game, to direct the focus of one or more viewers towards the digital content. The present invention is further configured to embed a commercial message in conjunction with the alert on directing the focus of the viewers. The alerts and commercial messages are inserted by the use of industry standard tags such as those defined by Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) standards SCTE 35 and SCTE 104. The tags are subsequently replaced by the required alert and commercial message media files at some point in the delivery path of the digital content. The system is adapted to activate the alert either manually or automatically.
