  • Publication number: 20040143822
Abstract: A method and system for compiling a visual representation of a web site into machine executable instructions, wherein the visual representation depicts both a visual presentation and logical processing of the web site. One or more logic objects is defined with each logic object having non-visual components that perform information processing tasks. One or more visual objects for visually presenting content and information on the website are then defined. Relationships between the logic and visual objects and then visually defined to create the visual representation of the web site. An execution order is then generated for the one or more logic objects based on the defined relationship between the logic and visual objects. All of the visual objects are translated into fragments of markup language. Machine-executable instructions for execution by a runtime engine are then generated comprising the order in which to execute all logic objects and the fragments of markup language to render.

  • Patent number: 6742746
Abstract: As assembly for holding routing optical fibers from a rack-mounted equipment module includes a trough element and support elements that are adapted to attach the fiber-holding trough element in front of the front panel of the equipment module. In some embodiments, the trough element is a U-channel with its opening partially covered. Also in some embodiments, the support elements' are adjustable to permit placing the trough element at different distances from the front panel of the equipment module.

  • Publication number: 20030044056
Abstract: A method for inspecting composite tape including cover tape bonded to carrier tape comprises capturing a digital image of the composite tape, dividing the seal tracks within the image into a plurality of fragments or segments. The method also provides for analyzing each segment of the seal track for the presence or absence of the seal and for the width of the seal, and assigning a failing grade to the segment if the seal is not continuous within the segment or if the seal has a width less than a minimum width within the segment. The method further provides for notifying a machine operator of a defective seal if the number consecutively-failed segments in the seal track exceeds a defect tolerance. The method also provides for measuring the spacings of the carrier tape edge, cover tape edge, and seal tracks from each other and comparing those spacings to acceptable values.

  • Publication number: 20020105240
Abstract: A vibrator module adapted for use in a taper apparatus for advancing carrier tape having a plurality of compartments and for placing parts in the compartments. The vibrator module includes a motor that includes an output shaft that rotates in response to operation of the motor. The vibrator module also includes an eccentric weight mounted to and rotatable with the output shaft. The eccentric weight causes the motor to vibrate in response to rotation of the output shaft and eccentric weight. The vibrator module further includes a vibration transferring member interconnected with the motor and operable to transfer vibrations from the motor to the carrier tape to cause the parts to settle into the bottoms of the compartments.

  • Patent number: 5005122
Abstract: A network including a plurality of nodes which communicate over a communications link includes client nodes which are used by users and server nodes. At least one of the server nodes is a management server node, and other server nodes may comprise backup server nodes or software distribution server nodes. To initiate, for example, backup service, the management server node transmits a message to the backup server node to enable it to perform the backup. To initiate software distribution service, the management server node determines the nature of the service, such as downloading new versions, auditing use for licensing purposes, and the like, and transmits a message to the software distribution server node to initiate the operation. The network may include master and slave management server nodes, backup server nodes and software distribution server nodes to further divide the control of the respective operations.
