  • Publication number: 20230083562
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for observing member behavior and managing a care gap associated with the member are proided that include: determining a current gap-in-care for the member by: receiving an electronic record associated with the member that describes a current health-related behavior of the member; receiving guideline behavior for the member supported by a professional clinical recommendation; and determining a difference between the current health-related behavior of the member and the guideline behavior for the member. Some examples of the system, method, and apparatus may include determining, for a current gap-in-care for the member, actions that, if followed, are capable of at least partially closing the current gap-in-care within a clinically-defined period of time for the member; determining an impact associated with at least partially closing the current gap-in-care for the member according to the actions; and providing a communication to the member that describes the actions.

  • Patent number: 11336534
Abstract: A method of operating a communications network is disclosed. In order to manage a network, it is first necessary to establish the state the network is in. This is difficult in practice because the network operational data stored and transmitted in the network takes a myriad of forms owing to the variety of suppliers and types of network equipment. There is a need to distil that network operational data down to aggregate network operational data which can be taken to provide an indication of the state of the network which is of a manageable size, and to which network management apparatus can react by sending control commands to the network. The problem of generating aggregate network operational data is tackled by identifying the type of each attribute found in each network operational data item, and classifying the network operational data items in a manner which takes account of the identified types and thus provides network aggregate data which more accurately reflects the operational state of the network.

  • Patent number: 11240119
Abstract: A method of operating a communications network is disclosed. Modern communications networks produce vast amounts of network operational data which have the potential to provide a useful summary of the operational state of the network. Whilst processes such as clustering are known for arranging the vast amount of data into groups, the clusters themselves do not provide data which might be easily interpreted by network elements or administrators. Network operational data often comprises a plurality of data items, each of which gives a value for each of a set of attributes. By processing a cluster to identify attributes in the cluster whose values vary less in the cluster then they vary outside of the cluster, and then generating a cluster description which is based on a measure of the central tendency of the values of those attribute in the cluster, an easily interpretable general description of the data items in the cluster is provided.

  • Publication number: 20210396016
Abstract: A system for providing a pet ladder, and more specifically, to a system for providing a dog ladder for use in of a body of water that may fold out of the water when not in use. is disclosed. The waterside dog ladder is typically attached to a pier, dock, seawall or similar waterside structure that abuts a body of water. The dog ladder has a platform and a plurality of ladder sections. The length of the multiple ladder sections when connected end to end permits the dog ladder to extend from the platform to the water bottom. The dog ladder folds into a retracted position to completely remove the multiple sections from the water when not in use. The ladder is a positive-stop ladder so that each section folds until it hits a stop and provides a firm and solid footing for the dog at a predefined angle that the dog can manage. The rigid and solid feel makes the dog confident and relaxed when exiting the water.

  • Publication number: 20210386494
Abstract: A teleoperational system receives a movement command in response to movement of an input device, in response to determining an instrument is being controlled based on the movement of the input device, maps the movement command to a first movement of the instrument in an instrument frame using a first mapping, and in response to determining a tissue probe is being controlled based on the movement of the input device, maps the movement command to a second movement of the tissue probe in a tissue probe frame using a second mapping. The first mapping maps motion in an input direction in the input frame to an instrument direction in the instrument frame. The second mapping maps motion in the input direction to a tissue probe direction in the tissue probe frame. The instrument direction corresponding with the input direction. The tissue probe direction not corresponding with the input direction.

  • Patent number: 11129683
Abstract: A teleoperational medical system comprises an input device and a manipulator configured to couple with and move an instrument. The system also comprises a control system including one or more processors. In response to a determination that the instrument is inserted into an instrument workspace in a corresponding direction to a field of view of the workspace, the control system is configured to map movement of the input device to movement of the instrument according to a first mapping. In response to a determination that the instrument is inserted into the instrument workspace in a non-corresponding direction to the field of view, the control system is configured to map movement of the input device to movement of the instrument according to a second mapping. The second mapping includes an inversion of the first mapping for at least one direction of motion of the instrument.

  • Publication number: 20210186633
Abstract: A system and method of breakaway clutching in a device includes an arm including a first joint and a control unit coupled to the arm. The control unit includes one or more processors. The control unit switches the first joint from a first state of the first joint to a second state of the first joint in response to an external stimulus applied to the arm exceeding a first threshold, wherein movement of the first joint is more restricted in the first state of the first joint than in the second state of the first joint, switches the first joint from the second state to the first state in response to a speed associated with the first joint falling below a speed threshold, and prevents the switching of the first joint from the first state to the second state when the arm is in a predetermined mode.

  • Publication number: 20200214778
Abstract: A system includes a manually movable input control configured to generate signals when a movement of one or more mechanical degrees of freedom of the input control is detected and a control module. The control module is configured to determine whether a movement of the input control is anticipated to cause an instrument to move outside of a safe range of movement of the instrument and command the system to switch from an operating mode to a safe mode in response to determining that the movement of the input control is anticipated to cause the instrument to move outside of the safe range of movement of the instrument. The instrument is separate from the input control. In the operating mode the instrument moves in response to movement of the input control. In the safe mode the instrument does not move in response to movement of the input control.

  • Patent number: 10690498
Abstract: An automatic point layout system identifies points and their coordinates using vertical planes of laser light. Laser controllers aim vertical laser light planes that will cross at any desired point on the jobsite floor. The user views a virtual jobsite illustration on a remote controller touchscreen display, and selects a point of interest. Commands are sent to the two laser controllers, which aim their laser transmitters at that point of interest, showing visible laser light lines that intersect directly at the point of interest, for staking. The user selects a second point of interest on the touchscreen display, commanding the laser transmitters to rotate to a new set of coordinates. The user performs these functions seamlessly; the remote controller allows the user to quickly move from one point of interest to the next, without having changing to any other operating mode between the identifying and staking of each new point.
