  • Publication number: 20230346615
Abstract: A patient support apparatus for use in treating patients with behavioral health indicia. The patient support apparatus includes a support structure with a patient support deck defining a patient support surface having one or more ligature risk locations arranged outside of a ligature safety zone defined relative to the patient support surface. A sensor system is coupled to the support structure to generate data representing load acting on the support structure. A controller is disposed in communication with the sensor system and is configured to issue a ligature risk event alert in response to the data generated by the sensor system satisfying a predetermined load criteria indicating a distribution of load acting on the support structure outside of the ligature safety zone for a predetermined period.

  • Patent number: 11803840
Abstract: Method and system for verifying authenticity of specific personal data responsive to a unique wallet address on a public ledger of an unregulated platform. The wallet contains one or more non-transferable NFTs, each locked to the wallet and related to specific personal data. The non-transferable NFT was minted from a regulated platform to which there is a record in the public ledger. Supplying the unique address of the wallet to a service supplier affects a log-in of a client to the service supplier, whereafter message interactions over a network between the service supplier and the unregulated platform permits searching for a relevant non-transferable NFTs stored in the wallet and related to the specific personal data. Return of any relevant non-transferable NFT related to the personal data thus verifies authenticity of the specific personal data by association with a regulated platform.

  • Publication number: 20230342027
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for selection of characters from an electronic user interface. In one embodiment, a letter selection interface displays letters in a row, some of which are recordable by an input interpreter and others that are unrecordable. In one embodiment, unrecordable letters visually separate letters that are both (1) recordable, and (2) assigned to different but adjacent selection buttons. In response to received touch-screen activations, an interpreter records recordable letter selections and a display displays both recordable and unrecordable letter selections. The interpreter composes a sequence of the recorded letters. An algorithm identifies alternatives to the recorded sequence by editing one or more letters of the sequence, such that each edit changes a selected letter to an adjacent unrecordable letter. The algorithm outputs words that match the originally composed sequence or one of the identified alternatives.

  • Patent number: 11797317
Abstract: A software development process may support a transition from unverifiable, legacy code to verifiable code that is provably correct by construction. A behavioral model may be developed for legacy software that includes various behavioral criteria. Then, source code implemented in a verifiable language may be verified using the behavioral model to perform verification. Once the source code is complete and verified, a new verified implementation may be compiled. The verified implementation may then be executed, along with the legacy software, to identify differences in behavior which are fed back into the behavioral model and subsequently into the new source code. This process may then be iterated with the verifiable code being deployable once behavioral differences are resolved.

  • Patent number: 11789627
Abstract: Techniques for persisting user data across secure shell instances are provided. A method includes receiving a first request from a session manager service to establish a connection to a secure shell instance and restore a user block volume with corresponding backup user data. The method may include reserving an empty block volume. The method may also include transmitting a backup data identifier associated with the corresponding backup user data to a backup service and receiving the corresponding backup user data from the backup service. The method may further include providing the corresponding backup user data to the empty block volume to create a restore volume and transmitting a restore volume identifier corresponding to a data center identifier to the session manager service. The method may include receiving a second request to attach the restore volume to a reserved instance, the second request being received from the session manager service.

  • Publication number: 20230298117
Abstract: A system for bridging between centralized and decentralized systems such that an owner can access equity in their property and a purchaser can have a high degree of confidence in the property rights being purchased. The system includes an equity conversion computer having software executing thereon to intake property information and property conversion software executing thereon to convert the real property rights to be collateralized into tokens to be registered on blockchain (decentralized system) and on government computer systems (centralized systems). The software intakes the information, saves the information in a usable format and generates various documents in formats usable by the various system the equity conversion computer communicates with. The tokenized property rights can then be converted to a crypto currency by a purchaser desiring to purchase the property rights associated with the tokens.

  • Patent number: 11765118
Abstract: This disclosure relates to systems and methods for providing user content on a social network. In some aspects, the social network receives, over a communications network from a first computing device associated with a first user of the social network, a transmission including a post to be published on the social network. The social network detects, in the post, goods or services sought or inquired about by the first user, and determines a proximity of the first user. The social network identifies one or more other users of the social network located within a geographical area or the proximity associated with the first user, and presents the post only to the one or more identified users of the social network.

  • Publication number: 20230274149
Abstract: A property vector representing extractable measurable properties, such as musical properties, of a file is mapped to semantic properties for the file. This is achieved by using artificial neural networks “ANNs” in which weights and biases are trained to align a distance dissimilarity measure in property space for pairwise comparative files back towards a corresponding semantic distance dissimilarity measure in semantic space for those same files. The result is that, once optimised, the ANNs can process any file, parsed with those properties, to identify other files sharing common traits reflective of emotional-perception, thereby rendering a more liable and true-to-life result of similarity/dissimilarity. This contrasts with simply training a neural network to consider extractable measurable properties that, in isolation, do not provide a reliable contextual relationship into the real-world.

  • Patent number: 11738604
Abstract: A sensor retaining system for a vehicle tire is provided. The tire includes a pair of sidewalls extending from a respective bead area to a tread, which is formed with a plurality of tread elements. A sensor unit is mounted to the tire and includes a pair of electrical contacts. A tread wear sensor extends into one of the tread elements and includes a wire. The wire includes proximal ends, each one of which contacts a sensor unit electrical contact to create an electrical circuit. A flexible container is mounted to an innerliner of the tire. A cup includes a base and a sidewall that cooperate to form a cavity, and a bottom of the tread wear sensor and the sensor unit are received in the cavity. The cup maintains a connection between the electrical contacts and the wire proximal ends, and is disposed in the flexible container.
