  • Patent number: 7412989
Abstract: In a solenoid valve 10, an annular oil groove 66 is formed at a portion corresponding to a spring chamber 56 on the external surface of a sleeve 19, a drain passage 68 is formed to make an upper part of the annular oil groove 66 communicate with the outside of an insertion bore 61, and a throttle hole 67 is provided at a lower part of the annular oil groove 66 for making the annular oil groove 66 communicate with the spring chamber 56. Since the annular oil groove 66 communicates with the outside of the insertion bore 61 at its upper part through the drain passage 68, it can be realized to store the operating oil to the height of the upper part of the annular oil groove 66, so that the operating oil can be reserved in the spring chamber 56 which communicates with the annular oil groove through the throttle hole 67. Further, the operating oil is supplied from a feedback port 48 next to the spring chamber 56 through a clearance between the spool valve 19 and a valve hole 18.

  • Publication number: 20080119033
Abstract: A method for integrating a metal-containing film in a semiconductor device, for example a gate stack. In one embodiment, the method includes providing a substrate in a process chamber, depositing the tungsten-containing film on the substrate at a first substrate temperature by exposing the substrate to a deposition gas containing a tungsten carbonyl precursor, heat treating the tungsten-containing film at a second substrate temperature greater than the first substrate temperature to remove carbon monoxide gas from the tungsten-containing film, and forming a barrier layer on the heat treated tungsten-containing film. Examples of tungsten-containing films include W, WN, WSi, and WC. Additional embodiments include depositing metal-containing films containing Ni, Mo, Co, Rh, Re, Cr, or Ru from the corresponding metal carbonyl precursors.

  • Patent number: 7289284
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention prevent demagnetization or degaussing of recorded magnetizations, even if a stray field is applied. In one embodiment, an output of a read head including a magneto-resistive effect element is inputted to a stray field detector through a DC amplifier and a DC filter. The stray field detector monitors dc components of the output from the read head, and escapes a head from above a magnetic recording medium.

  • Publication number: 20070072533
Abstract: A coin deposit apparatus has a carriage section having castors detachable from a apparatus main body, and a carriage-locking section which can lock the carriage section attached to the apparatus main body so that a plurality of container sections are mounted onto the carriage section. A shutter which can open and close an upper aperture and a closed position locking member which locks the shutter at the closed position are provided to each one of a plurality of the container sections. A shutter-locking activating section which moves the shutter of a plurality of the container sections mounted onto the carriage section to a closed position and locks the shutter at the closed position by the closed position locking member is disposed in the apparatus main body. By doing this, it is possible to provide the coin deposit apparatus which can prevent problems in security management.

  • Patent number: 7159303
Abstract: The magnetoresistance effect element is of a multilayered structure having at least magnetic layers and an intermediate layer of an insulating material, a semiconductor or an antiferromagnetic material against the magnetic layers, and the magnetoresistance effect element has terminals formed at least on the opposite magnetic layers, respectively, so that a current flows in the intermediate layer. The film surfaces of all the magnetic layers constituting the magnetoresistance effect element are opposed substantially at right angles to the recording surface of a magnetic recording medium. Therefore, the area of the magnetic layers facing the recording surface of the magnetic recording medium can be extremely reduced, and thus the magnetic field from a very narrow region of the high-density recorded magnetic recording medium can be detected by the current which has a tunneling characteristic and passes through the intermediate layer.

  • Publication number: 20060121317
Abstract: The present invention restricts defect density on the magnetic disk based on predetermined polishing conditions by applying a magnetic field to the entire surface of a magnetic disk in a direction vertical thereto, rotating the magnetic disk, loading a magnetic head to the magnetic disk, reproducing signals from the magnetic disk, processing the reproduced signals by a waveform analyzer, counting pulse waveforms of 0.9 times or more a servo-bit length at ½ threshold value of an average output, and measuring the defect density on the magnetic disk giving an undesired effect on the I/O performance of the magnetic disk drive. In a case of a magnetic recording medium using a vertical magnetic recording system, even with fine defect of magnetic layer, a servo pattern cannot be judged correctly. This provides degradation of the I/O performance of increasing the time necessary for reading out large capacity data, lowering the performance of the entire magnetic disk drive.

  • Publication number: 20060011245
Abstract: Disclosed is a solenoid-operated valve which is capable of enhancing the responsivety of a device while an electric current applied thereto is in a low current range, and which is capable of preventing the device from vibrated by the fluid pressure fluctuation while in a high current range. A spool is received in a valve sleeve for regulating the pressure of fluid. A plunger is received in a stator that has a core provided with an annular projecting portion. A solenoid magnetizes the stator to attract the plunger so as to move the plunger into the annular projecting portion. The annular projecting portion is formed with a tapered portion and a thin cylindrical portion projecting from the rear end of the tapered portion. A step is formed on the outside of the annular projecting portion between the tapered portion and the thin cylindrical portion.

  • Patent number: 6953186
Abstract: Disclosed is a solenoid-operated valve which hardly brings a plunger into a lock and is capable of improving its responsivety. In the solenoid-operated valve, the plunger slidably guided in an inner bore formed in a yoke and a core aligned axially is moved by energizing an electromagnetic coil, and a spool in a valve section is moved through a rod portion which protrudes from an end of the plunger to pass through a center hole of the core. An electromagnetic section fluid chamber defined by a forward end surface of the plunger and the inner bore of the core communicates with an intermediate fluid chamber defined between the core and a valve sleeve, through a clearance between the center hole and rod portion. The spool is provided at one end thereof with a land portion whose end surface defines a part of the intermediate fluid chamber.

  • Publication number: 20050217740
Abstract: A solenoid valve comprises a solenoid portion 10 and a valve portion 20. The solenoid portion 10 is constructed by a stator core 12, an electromagnetic coil 14 and a plunger 15. The valve portion 20 is constructed by a valve sleeve 21 and a spool 25 axially forming plural lands 26a-26c in series. The plunger 15 is axially moved by electromagnetic attraction and drives the spool 25. There are formed the same pressurized areas at the plunger 15 and the land of the spool 25 closest to the plunger 15. Therefore, the volume in an intermediate space B between the plunger 15 and the spool 25 is constant and contaminants in the oil are not sucked into the intermediate space B.
